Avenged Sevenfold were originally a metalcore band that mostly screamed. They changed their sound on their third album. I don't have a problem with his voice but some people do. The album is dedicated to their late drummer The Rev who had mental issues and addiction problems and died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol.
