When they did making the video they said the video was based off of Jacob's ladder which was one of Jimmy's favorite movies because of how creepy it was. And if I remember correctly it was the director of the videos idea to incorporate Jacob's ladder into the video and that's when the guys said their ears perked up and more like That's Jimmy's favorite movie.
I totally agree with you about his voice and James Hetfield’s having similarities. He’s very heavily inspired by Metallica in general. Speaking of which, you should definitely check out their song “Hail to the King”, which was written as an homage to Metallica.
This song is awesome and the guitars and drums chefs kiss and M shadows vocals top notch. Great job on the reaction Inna and thanks for doing the reaction to this song.
"Avenged Seven-fold" is from the Bible: "...when a cast-out demon is allowed to return, he does so w: 7 more demons, & so he's avenged seven-fold|times!"🤘🤪
I don’t know why that offends you, but to be clear, Avenged Sevenfold is NOT a religious band, despite the origin of the name. But they also aren’t “devil-worshipers” either.
I love how they recreated imagery from The Shining, & Jacob's Ladder for this video. Both are deep horror for thinkers, less about jump scares, more nightmare fuel.
Look for, The Ballad of Dwight Frye, By Alice Cooper. That song kick-started the craze of songs about mental illness. Other songs that touch on the subject but are not limited to this list are, Diary of a madman, Ozzy. Toys In The Attic, Aerosmith. Comfortably Numb, Pink Floyd. Of Unsound mind, Metal Church. Just a short list for starters.
Hey hope all is well. I'm just wondering please can you react to this video next? In the search bar if you type in The Blathereen. It should be the first video 4 minutes 13 seconds long. Also in the reaction explain what you thought happened from start to finish in your opinion after you watched it. Once again hope all is well and im looking forward to your reaction😊
