Good comparison, thanks!!
Thanks but man does that Gorilla one smell aweful
Thank you for the comparison in the on-going crafters' saga of the quest for the perfect glue stick. I think we all are searching for that. LOL!
Glad it was helpful!
I love the Create Scotch brand glue stick and I never need to write on my glue areas so that is not a problem for me. AND it works on fabric also!! Thanks for the video. It was very helpful!
Thank you Tanya!
You are so welcome!
Thank you Tanya, this was very interesting. I have used Scotch Create for as long as I have been making journals. The one thing is I think the Create does say on the tube is that it works on fabric (or at least it used to).
It might say that I am not over there with it I will say it is very sticky one thing I do not like is how soft it is but way better than the Gorilla glue one
Would these work for labels to plastic and metal? I labeled my tools and small parts in my work shop but the labels didn’t stay stuck on there own
Thank you, this was very useful. Would you be willing to come back in a wk or two and see if they all still hold well?
Yes, definitely if I can find the pieces I used but not sure if I pitched it or not but I will try to put down some new pieces and let you know Andrea
Scotch Create last like Extreme in humid climates for up to at least 5 years according to Pam at the Paper Outpost. She's been using it that long. Happy Thanksgiving 🥰🐞😘
Thanks for the info however the Create stick I have is so soft which I really dislike
Hello 👋😊 Tanya and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family great review of the glues I don't use them I use a tape runner or double sided tape but I will try a xtreme stick someday stay safe and be careful 🙏🖌️✍️🎨💌
I am so sorry your sweet daughter could not be home. and I like tape too but have found lots of what I do just does not work so much collage really needs glue out to the edges. hugs stay well and safe
@@TanyaMcGuire smiling and thank you hope you have a great week too
the old purple UHU was the Best of course Not available now
I like my extreme but if I can’t get that I would rather have the elmers that starts out purple and changes to clear. But you know I might switch to the create after I finish my elmers. Thanks
I am likeing the create more and more
dollarrama stores in Canada has the Elmer's extreme 40G glue sticks as July of 2020
thank you we do not have that store here but I will keep my eyes open for them
@@TanyaMcGuire ha at my local one i bought the last 3 for 2.50 can 40g sticks , I think I was just lucky =)
@@puffyjo yes you were I can not buy them locally at all any more I can only order them
I seldom use glue stick, and all I have is Elmer's I don't know if its whatever whatever . lol Thanks for the reviews I so appreciate it!
xo
well I use them more than I used to and I hate some of them so much so am trying to replace the Extreme
I've tried several, and keep coming back to the Scotch Create. I don't know if it will ever lose out to another kind at this point. lol
I have used that one more and it is really good on Fabric
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🎨
elmers is also acid free
thank you yes all 3 of these are acid free
I have been using Amazon basics lately
some one else mentioned those will have to get one next time have these others for now
its ALL paper not a good test, you needed to try different mediums such as fabrics and trims. so kinda redunent
I really did not try it with anything but paper because I would never trust any glue stick to hold other media. I use Art Glitter Glue for fabric and trims.
gorilla glue stick dries up very quickly
I would not doubt it it is so hard and nasty smelling
Nothing like a long quiet boring pause in the middle of a video. Couldn’t be bothered to add some music or something? Lazy video editing..
