I watched my first plasma cutter video to see the very basics. Then I watched another to get more beginners use information. Then I stepped it up, watched this, to see what the pros do. This is very awesome and encouraging to what the future holds if I get as comfortable with this tool as you guys are. Thanks for posting this!
What size of compressor do you run in your shop or is needed to operate the extreme 625? Have you tried the plasma cutters with the built in compressors...do you like them?
Torch tip and proper pressures make a big difference in your cuts with a torch. It didn't look like yours was set correct but I get it, you're advertising the plazma (love your show by the way)
I know this is a promotion for a plasma cutter, but if we're being fair here these guys totally butchered the scene of them using the torch. In the hands of someone with a lot of torch experience a torch will destroy a plasma cutter for certain things. I have both. On anything up to 1/4" no doubt, hands down, plasma cutter. All day long. It'll work circles around a torch. However, anything over 1/4" thick i will use a torch. No questions asked. Cut about 4 feet of 5/8" plate the other day. Clamped a guide to the piece and the torch blew right through it. Super clean precise cut with bare minimal slag on the cut. Plasta cutter would of no doubt been slower. Plus convenience of a torch. No need for a compressor. No air for air dryer. No need for electricity. Simple and effective.
Hi Guys, thanks for the video. very good and informative. I bought the same cutter and now I have problem with it. I don't if you guys can help me or not. the Pressure light comes on and then the cutter fires and stops, fires and stops. like comes on and goes off. it doesn't cut all the way continuously. Thanks.
خادم shop air or an onboard compressor is a matter of budget and preference. A cutter with its own air is handy especially for a quick job but most limit you to 1/4 imch or roughly 6-7 mm. Thicker material you usually need the volume available from shoo air.
Tom Allen wow? Really? You mean to tell me a 10 minute video all about a Miller plasma cutter is a 10 minute video about a miller plasma cutter??? What is this sorcery??
Great vid. Can you talk about and show us the inside of this cutter and how well it is made.

Sal K either line pressure in is too low, bits of rust have clogged orifices, bad ground or power supply wattage is insufficient.
