- Guys and girls, go get your hands on one of these things. For the price it's worth it even if you have no use for it! All jokes aside, this is an amazing plasma cutter for the price. I highly recommend getting one if you have a need to cut metal fast and reliably.

Just picked one up for $99 on Amazon, black friday deal plus a $40 coupon. Cha Ching!!
Yep, me too. The first one that arrived tested out just great. I got SE7EN of them for myself and others as stocking stuffers and Christmas presents...."WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!?!?" HAHAHAHA!
How can I get 1 for 99$....is 155 on amazon
Best review I've seen for this model. This review and the price- $125 is the reason I bought it. Thank you
I want to say thanks for the review. I saw the Black Friday deal on Amazon and thought maybe I should get this. I then watched this video and the first thing I saw was that you were wearing an Oakes garage hat. I figured that if you supported the same TH-cam channels that I do I should just take your advice and buy the plasma cutter.
Thats awesome! I have actually worked a lot with Jimmy as well as Adam LZ and several other CT youtubers.
I've been using their Tig 250P for the last 2-3 years and I have been pleasantly surprised. Hundreds to thousands of pie cuts later, and still no problems. The Cut55DS Pro costs like $450 up here in the frozen wastelands of Alberta Canada, haven't got it (yet).
Thank you for this video. I'll be looking into buying one soon
Got mine for $99 also. Just assembled it. Gonna play with it tomorrow
The manual says hold torch 1mm over the metal being cut. Are you touching the torch tip to the metal?
I have a question on air pressure and it might be dumb but I'm a newbie: My 60 gallon air compressor is currently set to deliver air at 100psi as that seems to be the sweet spot for most of my air tools. Can I introduce this 100 psi air directly into the Cut 55 DS Pro and then regulate it using the dial on the plasma cutter? Or should I also back down on the output of my air compressor?
Do you happen to know the difference between the 55ds pro and the 65 ds pro by chance. I want to buy one of them, but this is my first plasma cutter. I'll be using it on vehicles as well thanks
Do you have to touch off with that torch?
Can I be lazy and ask off 220 what’s the max amps/watts does this machine pull. I’m looking for a budget machine to run off my 7200 peak 6,000 running watts. Thank you
Mine is junk. Cuts sometimes, other times just ruins the cut. I run mine on 220v, thru a separate desiccant air filter. It's been disappointing
Does anyone know will a 21 gallon air compressor work sufficinetly for this plasma cutter
Definitely not
I bought a cut 55 and after two years and probably only 10 small uses, it started on fire internally, and YesWelder couldn’t care less
They had an issue with the cut55ds that they fixed with the pro. The power cord chafes internally and shorts out. My cut 55 did the same thing. I just opened it up and fixed/rerouted the power cable. I’m sorry they weren’t of any help. They are usually pretty good with that stuff.
I have cut65ds what settings are you using
Would you recommend this plasma cuter after having it for a few months I am thinking of buying the 55ds pro
There is a new model out it’s 55ds pro I want to order it but there are some bad reviews would you still recommend buying one I can by the amazon extended warranty let me know your thoughts on buying this machine. Thanks.
Mine has been going strong for some time now. For the price I would buy it!
Would you still recommend buying one ? And do you think it will last thx
@@craigmarshall40 both my 55 and my 55pro are still going strong! For the price you can’t go wrong.
How about longish term review
Coming very soon!
@@MorFabIndustries has it held up well?
It's pilot arc start with no trigger guard on the torch???
Holy sh*t that's dangerous! I hope you've got health insurance that covers severe burns.
