It’s feeling a lot better now so I’m going to get back on my butt and try again . I was getting the hang of it too plus fell on my butt so many times 😂 don’t forget to get pads lol
My daughters and I got skates together and we’re going to try these moves. I actually feel like I could do these moves....Or maybe Candi just makes it look really easy. 😝 lol

Skating is making a comeback after like 24 years when the first rollerblade came out I like skates cuz they have more stability rollerblades I love them but you got to have balance cuz if not you going to kill over I could do both those I started as a kid

You are the first person I've seen in a while with you're turns that are classic..youre set up for a 1 rotation could easily do a two...im a 80s skater that started going in the 70s..our style changed from the 70s but the set up for multiple spins really doesn't change much from ice skating..i would love to see more of today's younger skaters do multiple spins...but you already have the process down..fun to watch..been rollerskating since I was 8..im 53 and never stoped..its a passion that can last a lifetime.ever get to the nashville area check out rivergate skate center adult night...we roll about 350 a week and got some great skaters old and young..

I’ve been trying to figure out what orange wheels Candice uses outside too. I’m thinking she’s using a pretty hard wheel, as it’s very difficult to do dance type skating with soft wheels, and trained professional roller skaters are taught in hard wheels so it feels much more comfortable skating with a harder wheel vs the soft gummy wheels they are putting on all the outdoor skates now. I was trained and competed for 10yrs and soft wheels are quite an adjustment to what I was used to. So I found a complete set of 8wheels that are 98A hardness for only $50. They get good reviews, they are called rollerbones team wheels.
I impulsively bought skates. And I tried these tricks but damn that’s hard. I SUCK at the little V moved she did hahah, maybe it’s because I’m inside with outside skates (so the wheels are too soft). I taught myself to roll backwards and how to stop (can’t do the T stop tho) and I can like do one little spin, after that my foot stops haha. But I’m really enjoying it. Sadly it’s winter now so I can’t really go outside bc the rain and everything is bad for the skates. But if you’re hesitating to but rollerskates. Just do it!! Doesn’t matter what size you are, if you’re hesitating just buy them. You may regret it the first day because it feels so uncomfortable. But when you start feeling control it’s so amazing!!

I am waiting for the indoor rinks to reopen here in NY (looks like Long Island is the closest one to me) and I'm recovering from thumb surgery 2 weeks ago. Have any recommendations for skates (if my Riedell's are no longer good), indoor wheels, plate, trunks, bearings????? Looking forward to learning more!!

Any tips for arch pain? I always tie my laces super tight because I’m used to street skating where that’s important! My arches of my feet kill after doing this just a few times!
You have plantar fasciitis and need arch supports. Most arch supports suck, so expect to try several brands before finding a good one. Taaco is a good one
