all they have to do is to make it semi open world like ew2 but as scary as ew1. What I dont like about ew2 is the lack of scary moments and mini bosses. The chapters in ew2 are also shorter.
Honestly: I’d make Joseph the protagonist now. Considering what he went through in the mk.1 S.T.E.M. Program, he’s got more than enough personal motivations.
Nice explamation I love the first game. And yes, I'm a little late, but I'm done with the second one today. Here's another theory as to why we need a third game so that we can finally get the open questions answered. We know The Evil Within 2 has side missions. In one of them you have to help Sykes get out of STEM. And at the end of TEW2 we see the machine's screen turn on again. We also know that everyone has a chip in their head, so it could be that this activates Lily's chip, which we don't know if it was removed or if she even had one but that would set the plot in motion for a third game of this. Or Kidman does something with her chip because we don't know what she did with hers when she removed it. Translate with google translator. (I'm german)
And if you remember the end of the second game we saw someone reopen the stem system and I hope it was Ruvik .. and the end of the first game we saw two of Mobius's men draging joseph away and there's many details in the game needs sequel .. that's why I still wating the third game and I believe it worth it
Considering the second game sold half the original, we will sadly never get a third game. I'm just happy Silent Hill is coming back. The Evil Within is unfortunately in the past (hope this post don't age well). :(
I’d rate The Evil Within 2 like 4.5/10 if it’s meant to be a prequel to the third game, but if it isn’t, it’s like 2/10 game. The second game threw away too many things that was good in the first game and its DLCs; the main storyline of Ruvik, the importance of Leslie, Kidman as a independent strong female lead, the partnership between Sebastian and Joseph, etc. I’d be interested in TEW3 if they are going to bring back all of these.
You know Evil Within is peak of survival horror when it's upsetting people for its 'unfair' difficulty and 'bad' plot. The one that complains about Evil Within 'convulated' and 'senseless' story is the same people that praise RE universe's (except Code Veronica and Revelations) bad writing and deep as puddle main plot
@@cappedminer369I hated the controls so bad in the first one and the fact the Sebastian would take 5 steps and would start acting stupid winded while there’s a one hit enemy behind him would drive me nuts screaming at the tv like “RUN!! BRO” because of how bad the stamina was in TEW1 I was chuckling to myself in the TEW2 like hell yeah I can run forever now 🥴but just like outlast 1 & 2 the catastrophic feelings inside a smaller places is scary and better than the open environment stuff.
Bro, please teach me how to make those 3D looking thumbnails with the borders, I've been literally searching for an hour now before your video got recommended to me 😭 I will give you my first born 🙏 What programm did you use?
Both The Evil Within 1 & 2 are some of my favorite horror games ever. The STEM world is spectacular, the gameplay is fun and the story is incredible in both titles. Seeing a third person shooter being done so well is very relieving. Ruvik and Stefano are two of my favorite characters ever and richly written. Personally thought Sebastian was very dull, boring and ruthless (Kidman wasn't that interesting as well) but he's got a good journey as the main protagonist. So much nostalgia and memories with this series. Two amazing entries and extremely spooky. Creative monster designs and boss battles. I pray to God Tango Gameworks makes The Evil Within 3 at some point because I'm craving for it. The previous two ones were just too damn interesting and mysterious with great plots. If you are in the mood to get scared The Evil Within franchise is an easy pick for a terrifying time. Joseph was really cool too I kind of missed him in the sequel he was a legendary badass partner. I was so invested in it. So underrated. I have already played through the first one like 4 or 5 times and enjoyed it heavily every single time.
I think the main problem with having a 3rd game is how the story requires a STEM system in order to go anywhere, like what reason would a character have to use that system in every new sequel have to get creative
so crazy TEWII gave no explanation for the ending of the first one. What about Ruvik? Did he escape? Or was Sebastian still attached to STEM? Joseph still alive?
I would love to learn about a third game happening. I heard the second game was a commercial flop though which might have killed off any chance of a sequel which is a damn shame. But with the success of Hi-Fi Rush and MS money there could still be a chance of a third game in the future, it just won't be on PlayStation which for me won't be a problem, but it would suck for people who played the first two games on PlayStation.
Joseph was literally the only one person Sebastian truly trusted and cared about, and TEW2 totally disrespected that. I think that was enough for me to lose faith in this series, but I still hope they will get reunited someday, maybe in the third game.
I would not be against a 3rd game been optional in optional vr for pc and psvr 2. i feel like the stem system would work well since it's basically a metaverse and the monsters really would be excellent in vr but i doubt it will ever happen
Ghostwire tokio started being a the evil within 3, so it's possible a TEW3 if they aren't just run out ideas. In the final of the first game Rubik was beaten but during The consequence DLC Mobius taked Leslie body, then when Sebastián went out the asylum he see a image of Leslie with rubik walking animation, no one seems to see Leslie-Rubik walking, so I suppose thanks to Sebastián Rubik didn't escaped in the Leslie body, he escaped in the Sebastián mind, hidden, that's why no one can see him walking out and the inrerference sound and why we see from other hand the real Leslie body being taken by Mobius. At the end of the DLC executioner that happens after Rubik being defeated, A father enters to the stem to save her daughter, his mission is kill enemies to stop the mental deterioration due to stem Rubik remanescense mind. In the final the man with keeper body has to kill himself, that let's her daughter free from stem and his brain is used to keep alive the stem. One of the little bosses is Joseph Oda transformed, so he didn't die after kidmans's shot (confirmed in TEW2), but in the end of the main game they taken Joseph's body, so the aparition in the DLC maybe is his lost mind or only a residual copy, I suppose that because you can kill Sebastián too. So the third game should be about Joseph, Kidman's and her past in Cedar Hill and the experiments of Salvador Graciano, we didn't see him inside the stem so, maybe he is alive doing more experiment in the religious secta, or the only way that Sebastián could appear again is Rubik in his mind (but he killed his conexion with the Asylum stem in TEW2 optionals ways, so idk) and the Tatiana of the 2nd game (who isn't the same as the first game) told to Sebastián that he won't need her anymore, so that means is the last "adventure" of Sebastián, at least on Stem. Maybe the game takes place in a distant future where Lilly is the main protagonist saving his father, or rescuing her mother if she still's alive. In a optional mission in TEW2 we help a mobius agent to escape from stem using the same bathtub model that is used to enter to stem, that only have a 20% of success, the 80% left teleport people to a stem sub-level that no one knows what's there.
Shinji Mikami posted on FB that psycho break (the evil within) might be coming back. So obv he’s open to collaborating with tango again although he’s no longer employed by them. Hopefully it comes to fruition!!
First off, your videos regarding everything (such as The Evil Within) is just..great. Like, you make me laugh every time, but anyways, worth the sub. I played The Evil Within actually on a dare and questioned everything while playing. Guys, it makes more sense the more you play it! It was fantastic, bloody fantastic; well, until I played on Akumu and all your morals are thrown out the window...mainly because: A) I enjoy pain and adore bear traps. B) Someone said, "You can do it, no problem. You did RE4 remake on Professional. Easy game." and then proceeded to hate said person because of Chapter 6, 9, 11, 12, 14, and 15 on Akumu. (Still, better than the no upgrade run on survival and about wanting to crap my pants.) C) Funny story, but I actually laughed a lot during my Akumu run due to just exploding or just because I may have gone mad. Anyways, Akumu was fun and challenging, but if they make The Evil Within 3 it has to be as crap-in-ducing as the first game. The second game was cool, but.....I liked and enjoyed the first game a lot more. I had way more jump scares during the first game than in the second game; plus, Bear Traps.
I think the first game is better story wise. But the second game was more fun too play control wise. If they keep the controls of the second and all the customization, but merge the two stories and make the third game more horror less action
Absolutely agree I love both games very much and have been waiting for the 3rd game for a long time. Evil with in has the potential to become series just like RE.
Bro it would be good if ew3 was Sebastian controlling stem now after Kidman left him in there, they get readings that something is wrong in stem and Sebastian is not responding, so Kidman is tasked with going in and making sure Sebastian is okay, like they think they can go in and do an oil change like with a car, but when Kidman tried to find what’s making Sebastian unresponsive she realises he is in control now having seen all of ruviks reasearch and being trapped in stem he locks Kidman in stem to be the new hive mind
Bit late to the video but I consider myself extremely dedicated to these games and have gone over everything within both of them extensively, clocking 100+ hours in both of them and I'm almost at 200 hours per game because of how much I like to just walk around and look at the details. We need an Evil Wtihin 3, but with one of the main writers/directors off the project, it's likely going to be modernized slop. I would hate to see TEW go woke, so I'd rather just have the 2 games an the unanswered questions. There was exactly 1 person keeping the franchise in line and now that he's off it, things won't end well if the series suddenly blows up. Everyone who's been dedicated to it for years like myself will have suddenly need to put up with people potentially ruining our favorite characters for the sake of agenda. Games are supposed to be exactly that: games. they're entertainment. If they made a 3rd one in this day and age, no doubt it will be political.

Honestly, I think TEW2 is the main reason why the series ended like this. TEW2 didn’t work well as the sequel, they even changed Sebastian’s personality… and the ending felt very rushed and forced.
@@John_Aiginitis Gameplay was boring and Sebastian was apparently a worse character than the first game. He was just noisy and whiny and I still can’t believe he didn’t care about his partner at all in TEW2… That game could be so much better. And now the studio closed. I’m sad.
@@well-being2608 he did cared about his partner. If you do the photos, Sebastian finds out he's still alive and he feels relieved. And if you do the side missions with the singing ghost lady, you learn more about seb's past, how he felt, and how he's getting over some of his drama. I believe The Evil within 3 would be so good to see Joseph back and maybe Ruvik could have been the main villain again.
@@John_Aiginitis I know it because that was literally the only good thing in TEW2. And still, if he really cared about Joseph why he didn’t even mention about him in the main game and got that forced happy ending? And why so many TEW2 fanboys are like “Seb’s story is completely over!! He doesn’t care about Joseph at all. Just let them be happy with Lily🥺🥺🥺”? The answer is clear, TEW2’s storytelling is just bad. They made Sebastian into a generic sad-dad who doesn’t really care about anyone except his mcguffin daughter. I’m still sad. Really sad. I didn’t want to see the series ending like this.
On the one hand, I would love a third Evil Within game. But on the other, both games were so good that I'm not sure I want to risk a bad game getting thrown out just because they could make some cash. Plus, Sebastien's story is completely wrapped up and it's hard to imagine a game without him. If Kidman and Joseph teamed up to go into Stem and fight Ruvik I think I'd be fine with it but it would take a very good writer to make that work.
@@Hawk-cn8cb Okay but that's not a character arc. He obviously would have to be in the any future games but trying to shoehorn him in as a main character probably wouldn't work.
if you slap "Resident Evil" on top of Evil Within and put a blonde wig on Sebastian, I'm sure it will sell a million copies on its first day because people and the gaming industry are stupid like that. Or Kidman does something with her chip because we don't know what she did with hers when she removed it.

The Evil Within 3 could have a story that's about Ruvik rebuilding Stem in HIS way (Well, because last time he was sabotaged by Morb- i mean Mobius.)
New Proxidist evil within video dropped boiss
Нам нужен TEW 3 потому что в игре так и не рассказали ничего про бедняжку Джозефа ;(
And if you remember the end of the second game we saw someone reopen the stem system and I hope it was Ruvik .. and the end of the first game we saw two of Mobius's men draging joseph away and there's many details in the game needs sequel .. that's why I still wating the third game and I believe it worth it
I know this is late but I don’t think it was ruvik, isn’t he in Leslie’s body ?
@@cappedminer369 he is, but who knows. Anyone could’ve opened it🤷🏽♂️
Considering the second game sold half the original, we will sadly never get a third game.
I feel the same evil within needs a third game
You know Evil Within is peak of survival horror when it's upsetting people for its 'unfair' difficulty and 'bad' plot. The one that complains about Evil Within 'convulated' and 'senseless' story is the same people that praise RE universe's (except Code Veronica and Revelations) bad writing and deep as puddle main plot
i wouldn't saw it's peak but it us close, though I'd say there's a lot of plot holes in the first game
RE is more straightforward than TEW. It’s not as complicated or serious as TEW in terms of tone….
A third game would be awesome
I realy love this game! espacialy dlc in which we play as juli kidman
Such a great horror series, I would love a third!
Addicted to these 2 games as to no other…😬😅
To me this franchise ended with the first game’s DLC. The game named The Evil Within 2 wasn’t really a sequel(and sold poorly)
This bait made by a loser who follows a cringy dude hating on the evil within games
We need more survival horror Dinosaur games
There should be a Dino Crisis remake.
Bro, please teach me how to make those 3D looking thumbnails with the borders, I've been literally searching for an hour now before your video got recommended to me 😭
I will give you my first born 🙏
What programm did you use?
YES. WE ABSOLUTELY NEED EVIL WITHIN 3. I gotta know what happened to Joseph!!
Im honestly so Happy i found someone who loves this game as much as me
I would not be against a 3rd game been optional in optional vr for pc and psvr 2. i feel like the stem system would work well since it's basically a metaverse and the monsters really would be excellent in vr but i doubt it will ever happen
that dream is dead
That Ruvik's story is also incomplete.. what's happens after that he escape from mental hospital..😕
I loved the 1st game but, the 2nd game was underwhelming
1000% agree,, Subscribed!!!
Wish but Tango is making Ghostwire Tokyo 2 so yeah good luck with it
I mean they were working on a third game for God's sake they had some kind of plot for it that they could make happen
In terms of horror game is actually good.
Shinji Mikami posted on FB that psycho break (the evil within) might be coming back. So obv he’s open to collaborating with tango again although he’s no longer employed by them. Hopefully it comes to fruition!!
It would be cool for the evil within gets a third squeal but it sure isn't going to happen since microsoft close Tango Gameworks..
The First Person Modes added to the games on PC after release greatly improve the games for me & wish they were in the games Day One.
First off, your videos regarding everything (such as The Evil Within) is just..great. Like, you make me laugh every time, but anyways, worth the sub.
I played The Evil Within actually on a dare and questioned everything while playing. Guys, it makes more sense the more you play it! It was fantastic, bloody fantastic; well, until I played on Akumu and all your morals are thrown out the window...mainly because:
A) I enjoy pain and adore bear traps.
B) Someone said, "You can do it, no problem. You did RE4 remake on Professional. Easy game." and then proceeded to hate said person because of Chapter 6, 9, 11, 12, 14, and 15 on Akumu. (Still, better than the no upgrade run on survival and about wanting to crap my pants.)
C) Funny story, but I actually laughed a lot during my Akumu run due to just exploding or just because I may have gone mad.
TEW games are so underrated it hurts
*You didn't mention the ending secret scene in EW2 where a stem machine back in beacon hospital was shown to automatically turn on*
Yea i just finished it and seen that
I was wonder what happened to Syke…..
i just wanted to see joseph
You need, Publishers don't.
When is The Evil Within 3 coming out?
Yes but Should be directed by original director shinja mikami only
Can't wait I will buy and keep all way's
They failed every character in 2. I don’t want a part 3 anymore. Rip The Evil Within, I really loved the first game.
they did not
Absolutely agree I love both games very much and have been waiting for the 3rd game for a long time.
It will be xbox exclusive
Why wouldn't it xbox studio so of course it will be exclusive
Maybe Microsoft could make it a timed exclusive for like 6 months to a year.
@@doranmitchell1700 is spider man 2 a timed exclusive

The first game was such a treat to play, this video made me wanna replay both
Bit late to the video but I consider myself extremely dedicated to these games and have gone over everything within both of them extensively, clocking 100+ hours in both of them and I'm almost at 200 hours per game because of how much I like to just walk around and look at the details.
Daamn i agree we Need (3) anyway. Pls guys together do somethinf. Ask them and we wait the èvil within 3. Dont care... I dont know what game i play now. 😔😔 Wherw can text them? Maybe they do for US. We are waiting so many ppl 3 part. Plsss
You good?
I’d love a 3rd game where Joseph is the main character. He was my favorite character in the 1st game
Need 3 bad. Gotta find out what happened to his partner
Yes. It was release autumn 2024.
Thank you Microsoft for killing all my hopes and dreams for The Evil within 3....
Honestly, I think TEW2 is the main reason why the series ended like this.
TEW2 didn’t work well as the sequel, they even changed Sebastian’s personality… and the ending felt very rushed and forced.
@@well-being2608 more like they gave him a personality (first game he was kinda boring) and gameplay was fun. Great taste in music too. 👌
Seb’s story isn’t over. He needs to be reunited with Joseph.
I say this as an RE fan but ots true, people are more forgiving of established and glorious IPs than they are for newer ones that try and experiment
I just want a third to know what happend to joseph and Julian sykes
Ruvik ??

I definitely agree. Great videos !
Lets hope for 2024/2025 ! and please guys, bring back Ruvik !!!!
Yes! Please bring a 3rd one!
Muy bien video, ojalá Shinji Mikami vuelva y haga un tercer juego de la saga.
Y poder volver a controlar al detective Castellanos seria buenísimo.
Also a remaster for the evil 1 because the engine is so bad and unoptimized
I really enjoyed these two games I would love to see a third one! The second one was an improvement in almost every way and Making Your Way Home is an incredible song. Great video!
The second one was the biggest disappointment in video game history. The story was so poorly written I was about to vomit at those terrible family drama scenes. It should’ve never happened.
@@Hawk-cn8cb no it should have happened the way it did, it’s not as bad as you say it as, this might sound cliche but you don’t understand the story of the 2nd game
