Just an AC tip, instead of turning it on/off completely just adjust it by a degree or two if you get chilly/hot. Sometimes changing it drastically like that overworks the system and can cause issues with the coils over time. Well wishes!
Agree you make it work harder when you shut it off.
I do this too. Adjust it by a degree for the AC.
Oh yeah! Not only that but it makes your electric bill higher.
You make the same mistakes in Target I do. Go for one item, end up with fun stuff. I think we may be soul twins. ❤😂
Does your HVAC have an “AUTO” setting? If it does, you can set your thermostat for your desired temp, and your HVAC will cycle itself on and off without your having to turn the whole unit on and off. Usually there’s about a 2° margin. I’m in FL, and we actually only touch our thermostat twice a year. We set it on 73° for most of the year on AC, and 69° when it’s winter and the HVAC is on heat. It cycles happily on and off within its 2° preset margin. Works like a charm, and minimizes the power bill. Win-win!
I agree with the other person who said it's not good to be turning your AC on and off. More power is used trying to cool it back down. Just turn it up 5 or 10 degrees for the time you're gone.

Buy yourself a fan and have it in the room you will be in plus you can keep the thermostat a little higher because the fan will keep you cooler.
you are literally one of the biggest moods i have ever seen 😭 my brothers ac was out for weeks and it got up to 110 degrees some days. the outlets in my kitchen and living room have been out since february. if you think you’re alone, trust me girl you aren’t. missed your videos they always give me motivation!

Your a/c works harder when it’s cooling the room from hot. I’d leave the a/c on but turn the temp to 78 and adjust when you get home.
So many people have suggested this!! I've started doing it now so hopefully my AC doesn't break again lol

Rice: try Minute Rice 2 packs of 1 cups. 1 min in the microwave, a dash of Mrs Dash Garlic & Herb. Perfect! I love the brown & wild rice. There’s also a brown rice. Don’t know if there’s a white rice. 220 calories, 120 mg sodium.
I use Success rice boil in bag. Never fails.

What do you do about microwaving salmon at work? Does it stink/do people complain? I ask bc I was thinking about taking some to work today, and then I decided against it.
I always go to the DMV first thing in the morning. I am usually there by 8 a.m. and out within 15 - 20 minutes.

Oh gosh thank you for your video! I thought I was the only one dealing with apartment issues. I've only been in my apartment for about four months as well, and have had about four major maintenance issues. So I feel your pain!

Pasta: try adding garlic powder & black pepper on buttered pasta of any type.
Try Mrs Dash Garlic & Herb on anything. It’s amazing! Try it on brocolli next time you sautéed it. Also try smoked paprika and thyme. And yes, you can drop all of those at the same time!

I'm a plant lady, and I know you're looking forward to my recommendation, but you have such beautiful light in your apartment, I'd keep the fake flowers in your bedroom where there's no natural light, and keep the real plants out in the living room/kitchen, I can imagine they're flourish in that light. 🙂 Found you during the moving blogs and really enjoy your vlogging style. Oh, almost forgot "Minnie" the monstera plant is my suggestion

Those new units usually have a maintenance man on call 24/7. Call your leasing office.
Please don’t turn off the air. Just turn the thermostat up to 75. It won’t run as much and it will not be expensive. I do my whole house for under $130 month at 72

Have you thought about ordering a magnetic screen door from Amazon for your patio door? Easy peasy to install, super inexpensive, and super convenient. You’ll be able to use and enjoy your balcony without having worry about buggy critters getting into your apartment.
I've been wanting to get one so bad!! I just haven't found the right one yet
