You never disappoint Julie! Thank you for your openness and sharing. Your videos are fantastic. I just received my January sample pack and my office smells Wonderful! Thank you for the tips and links for equipment. :-)
My uncle has called me kumquat for all of my 32 years because as he put it, I've always been 'a sour little fruit.' I'm definitely going to need a bar of this!
Oh man! Okay, so those mango jojoba things are so cool. Sometime you should do a lemon curd soap where the bottom is a really vibrant yellow, and you do the top exactly like that, cream with those bright swirls for lemon zest! (Or of course just keep making your regular amazing soaps, haha).
Hi Julie😊 I LOVE kumquats. I usually buy a box when they're in season and make a yummy achaar (Indian spicy preserve).with it. It is yummy with all curries.
Orange vibrance mica is one of my favorites. It has a tendency to turn peachy though. Beautiful soap as usual. P.S., Love how you scrape your fragrance oil container.^^
Hello Ophelia, I want to congratulate you on your work, you are my inspiration ... I want to ask you how do you handle the temperatures of bleach and fatty acids? A big hug...
Ophelia, where did you get that wood soap mold and silicone mold? I checked bulk apothecary Md brambleberry and dont see one that is close, what the size of it? Thanks
@@OpheliasSoapery I see it but was confused why it made 6 loaves , when mold description says it's 3 loaves of 15" long w 400 oz capacity, is that the mold you use in the kumquat video? Or different? Thank you!
It’s linked wrong forgot to change it sorry 😂 I use the 25 pound mold. Depending on the width of your soap you can get 5-6 loaves with that mold. www.workshopheritage.com/collections/soap-molds/products/production-mold-25-pounds-tall-skinny
I prefer to do it separately because with some fragrances they can accelerate the soap and thicken really fast and by the time I get the last color mixed in it could be too thick so I made it a habit to just do it separately. Unless I know the fragrance behaves great then I’ll mix it all in the beginning.
Gorgeous! Looks like a delicious orange creamsicle .
Agreed! I wanna eat it
I love the side view of the mixing container you have been doing lately! and the soap looks gorgeous too!
Oh my god! The music is amazing!! Very Duran Duran!
This looks so good. I just get all the creamsicle vibes with the combo. I can almost smell it from here

Kumquat are so yummy!!!! I make a simple syrup and pour it over them while hot and let them sit. Sour and sweet!

beautiful!
Stunning! 💜
Really pretty, do the lid get the colors so vibrant alone or do you have to use the oven too?
Gelling does help make colors brighter. I used to put them all in the oven but now I just cover with the lid and it alone will force it to gel.
@@OpheliasSoapery Thank you for responding :)
Bet this smells great!

Awesome work as always, ?? What is the name of the stick blender that you use, I need one with a long neck like that

Once in 2007 or 2009 we caught a black widow and named her Ophelia. She lived for a very long time.
If you need to blend in the fragrance then why not do the fragrance and mica at the same time then you don’t have to hand mix anything
