Same. It has really made me reflect on the war zone of Northern Ireland (where I am from). Were the terrorists justified in killing all those people to gain human rights? Do past injustices matter - especially if the injustices are still celebrated by the other side? When is violence justified? When should you forgive someone for murdering your entire family? How can you achieve peace when both sides hate eachother? Should you negotiate with terrorists? After reading the manga I changed my mindset a bit and believed that some terrorists are justified. Now I support certain jihadists 😇

I think that Erin's behaviour now is definitely consistent with when he saved Mikasa all those years ago. He knew he had to act to save an innocent life even while doing something immoral (murdering two of the men). Because of their memory loss, all the Edians on Paradis are innocents, they have no hand or even knowledge in the sins of their ancestors. Overall I think Erin would agree with the philosophy that the sins of the father should not be visited on the son. Great video AU!
I never hated Eren. I always saw potential for him. I saw something big for him in the future. Now it's happening, he never wanted people to die, he always wanted peace. But here's the thing! We do not know what will happen but knowing the creator he will make the biggest plot twist ever. Eren isn't a bad guy... you never know why hes planning this mass massacre. I never doubted this dude because he isn't like other protagonists, hes more realistic. You can relate to him in a way that other main heroes don't succeed in. For my theory I believe that Eren will find a way to make peace even if it means killing half of the world. He probably wants people to come together which is happening with Reiner and scouts. The mini eren also wants to help and apologize for seeing eldians as demons when they were just human just like her. I believe that Erens plan will come together. He doesn't want to kill but to bring people together to maybe... idk to take him down. Either way he'll be happy there will be peace even after hes dead and his friends will be safe.
I think it's pointless to tack titles of "Heroes and Villains" in AoT. For the most part everyone fights for what they believe is ultimately just. Eren fights for the freedom of Eldians, Zeke fights to end the suffering of Eldians, Hell even Magath doesn't hate Eldians and seems to care for the ones in his squad. There are complex philosophies everyone plays by just like in real life.
As a teen, I lived in an apartment with a back alley. In the alley, on the ground was a quote: "To love, we must survive. To survive, we must fight. ______ peace, but revolution first." I could never make out the word in the underscored space. I choose to think it said "seek." One can make up their OWN mind what it should have said.
Hero exist in fiction only, Isayama is portraying a bleak world which mirrors the real world. Eren is on a warpath and there’s no judge and jury pointing out who is innocent and who is not
I just found this video and I loved it. That philosophy is quite controversial, however that does not mean that it is interesting, intriguing and very complex at the same time. I do not deny that it is well with Eren. You are right that this work (SnK / AoT) is more complex than it seems and always leaves us thinking and reflecting; therefore, it must be analyzed as such and not superficially. There was a time when I used to like Armin's character.But that image of him got shattered due to 3 things:- 1)First when he proposed the idea of try solving matters with the Marleyans.I mean like those people killed almost half of the innocent eldians of paradise island,and we're still continuing to ruthlessly do so.They didn't even spared innocent children.And still there was our blonde,saying that they should try 'negotiating' with those bastards . 2) Secondly , when he doubted Eren's intentions ( the guy who had suffered the most of all and cared for the eldians the most.). and apart from being his childhood friends,he failed to understand Eren and even proposed the idea of feeding him to someone so that they could forcibly take his founding titan. ( Eren,the guy who always fought madly by his side and tries to protect him no matter what the cost.Who even saved his life when he was on the brink of death.) 3)He showed symapahy for Bertholdt (the bastard who mercilessly caused so much destruction and was openly wishing and claiming to kill them all, including Armin himself). He even showed symapahy for Annie.Why?Did Annie or Bertholdt ever showed kindness or sympathy for the hundreds of innocent people they massacred.) Plus the scene when they ruthlessly killed Marco bring tears to my eyes even to this date.

I think that in the world of attack on titan eren is not the villain. There are a lot of questionable actions happening from everyone that we can all agree that in some ways anyway they are immoral. Eren is simply a realist in the rules of his world. He cannot see a way for him and his people to be free unless he destroy his enemies. So he sets out to do that with no hesitation or mercy since he knows that if things happened from their enemies' side they wouldn't show mercy to him either.

One thing I dont understand is if everything is a loop pretty much with eren manipulating time with his powers how did the original loop begin since alot of actions only occur with the time manipulation, like eren supposedly talking to kid eren to activate mikasa
The time is set up from the beggining. What Eren does is see the future memories of that set up timeline. Is not confirm that is a loop yet. The supposed moment when the loop start for the first time is around the theme that Eren became the Earth devil and gives the power to Ymir, which doesn´t exactly makes sense if we think, ¿where did the titan powers come from for the beggining? Which is what you are complaining about. The Loop says that it was eren all along, but yes, ¿the first time? ¿The real origin of the titans? ¿It has to do something with Eren? We will have to see fo the next chapters. Sorry for my english by the way, I´m still learning :v

I just found this video and I loved it.
That philosophy is quite controversial, however that does not mean that it is interesting, intriguing and very complex at the same time. I do not deny that it is well with Eren.
You are right that this work (SnK / AoT) is more complex than it seems and always leaves us thinking and reflecting; therefore, it must be analyzed as such and not superficially. That's something I love this anime / manga.

There was a time when I used to like Armin's character.But that image of him got shattered due to 3 things:-
1)First when he proposed the idea of try solving matters with the Marleyans.I mean like those people killed almost half of the innocent eldians of paradise island,and we're still continuing to ruthlessly do so.They didn't even spared innocent children.And still there was our blonde,saying that they should try 'negotiating' with those bastards .
2) Secondly , when he doubted Eren's intentions ( the guy who had suffered the most of all and cared for the eldians the most.). and apart from being his childhood friends,he failed to understand Eren and even proposed the idea of feeding him to someone so that they could forcibly take his founding titan. ( Eren,the guy who always fought madly by his side and tries to protect him no matter what the cost.Who even saved his life when he was on the brink of death.)
3)He showed symapahy for Bertholdt (the bastard who mercilessly caused so much destruction and was openly wishing and claiming to kill them all, including Armin himself). He even showed symapahy for Annie.Why?Did Annie or Bertholdt ever showed kindness or sympathy for the hundreds of innocent people they massacred.)
Plus the scene when they ruthlessly killed Marco bring tears to my eyes even to this date.

I think that in the world of attack on titan eren is not the villain. There are a lot of questionable actions happening from everyone that we can all agree that in some ways anyway they are immoral. Eren is simply a realist in the rules of his world. He cannot see a way for him and his people to be free unless he destroy his enemies. So he sets out to do that with no hesitation or mercy since he knows that if things happened from their enemies' side they wouldn't show mercy to him either.
John Winchesterp29 that’s true but eren starts the attack in marlin without second thought. Yes I know the world se them as monster’s however there was hope to talk to other countries to proof the that marlins government are lies to them but after eren attack they lies become truth.

Don't forget that even if the eldians in paradis did nothing to the world they still got drowned from the titans marley continued to create and were attacked because marley wanted the coordinate to make the eldians their weapons. Even if they did nothing wrong marley still sent 4 titan shifters to do whatever is necessary to steal the coordinate from the royal family. There was no chance for peace after this.

In chap 122 eren hugs ymir and ymir starts crying also she relives her past in the past she got her titan form because her blood got into contact with the flowers she got killed because the kings minion threw a spear in her head then the king abused the power and start ethnic cleansing after that in the real world where connie and mikasa are fighting the rumbling starts eren stop ymir from walking and not letting zekes wish come true instead she cries and activates the rumbling this chapter of how ymir lived made me cry a little
The spear didn't hit the head and I don't think the one who killed her was eldian.

One thing I dont understand is if everything is a loop pretty much with eren manipulating time with his powers how did the original loop begin since alot of actions only occur with the time manipulation, like eren supposedly talking to kid eren to activate mikasa
The time is set up from the beggining. What Eren does is see the future memories of that set up timeline. Is not confirm that is a loop yet. The supposed moment when the loop start for the first time is around the theme that Eren became the Earth devil and gives the power to Ymir, which doesn´t exactly makes sense if we think, ¿where did the titan powers come from for the beggining? Which is what you are complaining about. The Loop says that it was eren all along, but yes, ¿the first time? ¿The real origin of the titans? ¿It has to do something with Eren? We will have to see fo the next chapters.
