This is a great monitor for consoles, PC and tv. Just remember that currently: No burn in warranty (unless paid) and XBOX 4K HDR does not work on current firmeware. PS5 & PC HDR looks really good! This is great for a family member or ifnyou need something lower in cost that is surprisingly good.
Im just shocked these monitors lock you out of settings when in HDR mode, I got the asus pg32ucdm and hate it. HDR looks yellow and orange. All i want is to adjust the white balance but cant because it locks you out. Absolutely crazy

Well my fave 32" is the LG 32GQ950. But 27"....? KTC has a new monitor I have been investigating. H27P22S this one looks good at 4k. Also the 32GR95UM nano mini led looks good. I got both of these in house.. im getting ready to unbox them..
Think of it like this. Nobody complained on mini led or of monitors before that were matte. why all of a sudden? Its a trend... I dont follow trends.. I say its all about preference. More options the better for everyone. Even if we had both options they would still find something to complain about. Many ppl are giving in.. I wont. Ill stay neutral like always.
That’s because the blacks on those panel technologies sucked ANYWAY. The reason why matte is egregious on an oled panel is it nerfs the whole point of buying an oled - namely that infinite contrast and perfect inky blacks
@@thepadster123 matte screen has no effect on those screen details. No OLEDs would sell if it did. Last year was oled vs mini led. Now we are on glossy vs matte. Lol Im just happy we have oled on monitors.
@FlowGame33 ill have a aw2723df vs. msi up soon. So far, the oled just looks deeper and, yes, a bit clearer. Not night and day, but if you are picky, you can see it.
Would you recommend this monitor or the MSI MPG 27 QD-OLED? I really like the idea of this monitor right now cause it’s on sale for only $680 which is amazing for OLED. I also am in a brighter room at my house. Which monitor you think?
The Koorui is nice. It does have a matte costing which would be good in a bright room. But the MSI also if you position it correctly you should have no issues. Tho the Koorui price is nice. HDR is really good on it. I think the koorui is really good at that price.
Glossy is best if ypu can conteol lighting but matte or semi matte otherwise is great as long as its not a hard pearl sheen or level 3. The sheen say on the Neo G8 now really stands out vs regular matte. Personally I dont care as long as the monitor can display an amazing impactful picture and performance.
I will do a nits test this week. But so fsr no issues. HDR will be high. FF7 highlights look crazy bright. Just like the qd oleds aw3225qf hdr. Its bright.. seems like this monitor is "unlocked" compared to other monitors in terms of brightness. Thats the best way I can put it
@@DisplayReality Hey, I know this is an old comment but I tested the brightness with madVR's HDR pixel shader tonemap. This monitor can go up to 1500 nits. Absolutely insane for the price tag. However I'm having an issue with the OLED aspect. Blacks only turn off on Gamma 2.4 in the monitor settings. This isn't an issue on SDR where I can change gamma, but HDR locks all settings. Which means HDR is bright but blacks are grey. This isn't because of the brightness because even in SDR 0% brightness, blacks do not turn off on Gamma 2.2. It's like the monitor doesn't recognize black areas unless it's on 2.4?... Any idea how to fix HDR?

Looks great. This slim bezel are great. The overall design is great. Everything is great, even the price... except for 2 things - matte coating on oled and warranty from an unknown brand.
They should've gave you an option for matte or glossy. I do hate matte coating on OLED screens. It distorts the image. I mean it's a monitor just don't use it behind a window and you're all good.

Just bought this monitor and this is the only review I could find (Thanks for that btw!). I seem to have greyed out options in the menu that you don't seem to have. Did you have to update firmware or something similar?
@@SpencerXD No issues a month in! It had some splotches on the screen to start with that could only be seen during some blacks and greys but they went away after a day or two. The panel still looks really good and I’m quite happy with it. I still can’t say how it’ll do long term but there have been 0 issues so far. I meant to make a video comparing it with an LG TV I have to really see how it stacks up side by side to a well known brand. Maybe it’s time. I expect it’ll do well since supposedly the panel is an LG. It’s just been tuned by Koorui.
Can you please do a video on Oled gray uniformity. I hear it's normal for Oled to have bad gray uniformity. I have the new LG 27 GS Oled and it has noticeable gray uniformity. It's not annoying, but noticeable if you pay attention.
Like on dark grey scenes? I just got my 2nd GS (first had an issue) and I have more vertical.banding them before. Im about to let it run in hdr for a bit to see if it helps.
@ViktorsReality yes, it's vertical banding in gray images, is this normal for oleds? I don't don't want to exchange it and get the same. So far I love this monitor and it's not really a big deal for normal use or gaming, but I can see how a content creator would have issues with gray color accuracy. By the way this is a very bright monitor, I game in gamer 2 mode at 80% brightness even when I have the lights on. 100% is too bright for me.
@@yzuniga13sa how long have you used it for? If brand new just game on it a bit to loosen/tone it down a bit. If you run HDR videos on yt for a bit, it should help lower it a bit. These things happen on okeds. Some more pronounced. My first GS did not have any.. i only see in in a 90% grey scale. Normal gaming or browsing none.
@ViktorsReality I've only has it for a week or so. I ran the image cleaning a few times and that helped. I'll give it some time maybe I need to break it in lol idk I'm new to oled monitors, ill mess with some settings. I'll keep you updated.

The Asus is a safer buy. Warranty is a major plus on the Asus in case of image retention. The Koorui oled is a fun bright unlocked oled that maybe (*maybe) will get burn in within the yr if at 100% brightness and used 5 fays a week for 5+hrs.. I will show more if it helps.
@tommasoferrini2809 the Asus XG27ACDNG or MSI MPG QD OLEDs or if you need wOLED the Asus PG27AQDP. The Koorui is nice and at a great starter OLED monitor. Its very bright. Brighter vs other names like Pixio or Innocn.
Nothing yet. I was about to set up a vs between the gn10 and oled both from koorui. The gn10 at $299 is crqzy good for hdr gaming. Windows 11 works well with it.
I feel like its unlocked. I will show more this week. I just remodeled my review area. This monitor on ff7 when clouds weapon sparks.. it was one of the brightest images in hdr I have ever seen.

I have the aw2723df 280hz monitor. Basically OLED contrast in HDR is why you want oled. In SDR the IPS is brighter and looks great on the 2723df..

If on hdr it is a set preset that will disable many other options. Just like other monitors do.

I guess its cheaper due to not have a remote or HDMI 2.1. I really want a OLED that doesn't do DSC at 240hz. The GS is still the way to go so far.
How are you able to get 120Hz on PS5? It says it only has HDMI 2.0 I thought PS5 only supports 120Hz when connected to HDMI 2.1? Please clarify 😢😅
