Another Sunday, another episode from my last trip to St. Petersburg where I had an amazing day of shooting Street Photography with my Leica Q2 Monochrom. Attached to lens was an orange filter which gives really nice results by slightly brightening up skin tones and adding a little bit of contrast.
Sometimes things just work out and that was one of those days. :)

great timing! i've been looking at both the q and q2. i've been leaning towards the q and this video was really helpful
current setup is m3/6/9, i love the 9 but the lowlight sucks a lot of the time
Unless you get a crazy good deal on an original Q, I would go for the Q2.
@@therealsirrobin What would you say is a good deal for the Q? 3600 for like new with packaging?
@@chrisnguyendop What did you end up doing? Like you, I have a M3, M6...but I have a X2 as well...plus a GR111. So have been debating but not sure if between the X2 and GR, I will gain as much from the Q as you might...

Very nice episode Robin! I have two questions about the settings, in what range do you set the iso. All the way up to 6400? And do you leave the image stabilisation on or of? Thnx!
ISO up to 12.500. Image stabilization is not important to me, I use fast shutter speed and most of my subjects are moving, so IS is totally useless for what I do.
You are courageous, in France is impossible to do that :-)

I am using a X2 for Streetphotography now but so want a Q. Do you think it is a wise update for the small X2 in 2023?
Do you find the Q 28mm is a little bit wider than actual 28mm ?
Honestly, I could not care less. I prefer using it instead thinking about stuff like that.
I honestly wish you did not throw a filter on your photos and show what the picture actually looks like out the camera. Just my suggestion.
There is no straight out of camera when shooting raw. If you watch a movie do u also prefer an unedited picture?
People are clearly noticing that you are shooting them, did you ever received negative comments? How do you react?
In the next couple of weeks there will be a video coming addressing those questions. 👍
