    What a fabulous, heartwarming and inspiring series, a crying shame you didn't make the final sections. But this series should be held up as a template for anyone wanting to make their own film. Thanks man it's been a blast

    Just amazing!!! Your passion and joy on the trail is on display at every bend in the trail, every step up in altitude on the ascents, and in the quiet moments at camp. Sign me up for Backpacking 101 for those over 60!! Gosh, if I only knew 40 years ago what I know now I might be on one of those trails. Thank you so much for sharing!! Happy and safe adventuring to you, Bruce!!

    Really enjoyed that one. Great editing and loved the music you chose. Makes me want to 'pack up' and trade San Diego for Canada for a few weeks!

    Loved the video series. Too bad about the last two sections. I really enjoyed your perspective and positivity throughout. Have hopes to complete the entire trail one day. But will have to settle for section "A" this year. Thanks for posting an amazing set of videos.

    Thanks for posting, What a great adventure. My wife and I are hoping to get out to hike the GDT
    or at least Waterton to Robson. Not sure I have the desire to hike the forest service road out of kakwa.
    Looks like you had a great time, thanks again.

    What a great series! It’s really too bad you didn’t get to do Sections F and G, I would have loved to see your perspective on them but it looks like you had a great hike anyway.

    I enjoyed every one of these... fantastic video and editorial of such a great trail. Personally, it was rewarding seeing trails and bridges I've helped build and your expressed appreciation for them. I look forward to seeing your postings of the AT and the final two GDT sections one day.

      Thanks so much Gord… but a big big big thank you back for your part in bridge and trail maintenance. You are the un-sung hero’s.

    Congrats on finishing this series!! You'll have to come back to complete sections F and G soon! I was scheduled for the famous Berg Lake Trail but the closures that affected sections F and G also shut down Berg Lake trail due to trail damage and bridge washouts.

      I hear yah… what a pain. There were some brave and adventurous soles who navigated around it… but combined with pandemic stuff… also hitching a ride from Kakwa could have been a serious issue… stay tuned for 2023 🤫

    Excellent series! Very well done. I wasn't really aware of the GDT. With the weather conditions over the last few years I guess trails can be obliterated very quickly! Did Mango publish any photos of the trip?

    I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this series. Absolutely phenomenal work, easily the best GDT videos I have ever come across. It was incredible to follow your journey, and I have been so inspired by watching it. I am planning to do at least Section A (and possibly B) this summer. But I have a question for you: what is the earliest you would begin the hike? I have the month of June booked off from work for vacation. Is that too early to start?

    • @Campology
      @Campology  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Wow, thanks! So much appreciated. Re starting dates... I think it all depends on the snow in the mountains. I would reach out to the GTA... best of luck!
