You are so welcome! I dont know what we did before Videos....well yes I do, I taught myself to knit from a library book. Guess Im giving away my age ;) -Kelly
Hi from Texas. I’m not new to sewing, but I’m new to quilting. I purchased the FQS Liberty box so I was excited to find your tutorial for the Sparklers quilt today. I found your video very informative and feel it was just what I needed to get started. I have a lot to learn so I subscribed to your channel and will definitely be watching your future and past videos as well.
Beautifully done!! I appreciate the detailed instruction.I haven't started mine yet, but when I do I will refer back to this video to the tips you've given. In reference to the extra blocks, you can either incorporate them into the backing or make a matching pillow with them.
I decided to stop mine after I added the pinwheel and flag blocks. It makes it approx 48”x60”. I made the Miss Americana quilt and it’s the same fabric line so I’m going to use this one as a wall hanging. It’s larger than most of the wall hangings I use but I think it will still work. Yours turned out great. Thanks for the video!
Great video! You give clear instructions, very helpful. I just subscribed to your channel. One comment… the background noise (kids, dogs) is a little distracting. 😜
Thanks so much for the feedback! Yes, we have a loud home and I dont have any doors on my sewing room. But hopefully it feels like chatting with a friend :) -Kelly
I trimmed all the navy off and it still needed another trim. I have a huge cutting mat, so it wasn't too bad. Maybe fold it in half to keep it manageable?
Thank you great video. I can’t wait to make mine. I see a link for the background bolt yardage. Which color do you use for your background? I subscribed to your channel.
Hey there! Im so glad you enjoyed it! I use 9900 97 in almost every quilt I do. I have only had one or two fabrics that needed a different background. I love it with Camille Roskelleys, Fig Tree, Sweet Water etc. And the GreenFairy Link above is the best price Ive found it at. If you find better let me know! -Kelly
I ordered it yesterday & got an extra 15% off. They were having a discount yesterday off everything. I’m glad I waited a few days. Thanks so much for giving us the link. 😊
Here is how Ive been starching since they quit making Staflow. th-cam.com/video/N8w0gz1tFe4/w-d-xo.html I just dip and hang the whole yardage on that same rack.
Thank you for this video. I hope to make mine this afternoon and will be following along as I sew it up. I hit the subscribe button and also saved the video to find it again.
I got this box too and will be sewing this soon. Thank you for your videos. You do a great job.
Hope you enjoy it! Thank you so much!

Thank you Kelly! What a wonderful tutorial! For your left over blocks, you could use them for part of your backing ❤️
Great idea!!! But how? Just a stripe down the back?

Bummer, didn’t get the box this year! The Liberty Box is becoming my favorite!
It really was a great box, but if you search the fabric Ive seen other kits with this panel too!
-Kelly
Thanks for a wonderful tutorial
Glad it was helpful!

Where did you get the fancy holder for your Lori Holt fabric project board? Thanks for sharing your process making the panel wall hanging.

Did you have any advice on cutting the panel to size?
I trimmed all the navy off and it still needed another trim. I have a huge cutting mat, so it wasn't too bad. Maybe fold it in half to keep it manageable?

Great I had to do a search for it but found it. Is it like Kona White or a little more beige?
It's pretty light.
I ordered it yesterday & got an extra 15% off. They were having a discount yesterday off everything. I’m glad I waited a few days. Thanks so much for giving us the link. 😊
@@jeanniestaley2685 that's awesome! Thanks for sharing the deal!
-Kelly
Do you have double check the size of half square triangles?
I usually do, but if you are careful on cutting and press well they are generally very close to perfect!
-Kelly
How did you deal with starching if you are cutting from yardage?
Here is how Ive been starching since they quit making Staflow.
th-cam.com/video/N8w0gz1tFe4/w-d-xo.html
I just dip and hang the whole yardage on that same rack.
Make a pillow or matching Table runner.
Great idea! Im making a pillow as we type with some of my other leftovers.
-Kelly
Did you starch the panel?
Yes I did, just to keep it consistent- starch then trimmed.
-Kelly
Great video. Your camera is a bit cloudy.
Yes, that intro shot slipped past me
.. but hopefully the rest was good. Guess I need to clean my phone! 😆
