When I was three years old I had a cowboy hat just like his and during one of his concerts my dad took me up to the outdoor stage and Chris signed my hat and when I got back I said "That man just put ABCs on my hat". I still have that hat some 17 plus years later and it's one of my most favorite possessions and memories. RIP Chris Ledoux king of good ol' fashioned country music.

I knew Chris when he was still riding bareback bronc. I grew up in Golden Colorado, I had come to several of Chris's bareback camps to ride, and learn fundamental s if riding. He told me I didn't have legs long enough to reach the shoulders, that I'd better stick to riding bulls. He signed several of my cassette tapes from one of his concert sin Wyoming from Cheyenne frontier days. Back in 1976. I had moved to Texas to be with family in 1980. The last time I saw Chris was at a prca rodeo in Athens Texas , stock contractor Stace Smith and myself in the VIP tent drinking early times whiskey with Chris. That was the year before Chris past. I loved that man. Never be another like him. I grew up with all the greats. Don gay, Paul Mayo, Bobby Berger, Lane frost, Larry Mahan, Tuff Hedman, . He lived the life most of us dream of. I have lived in the same. I honor Chris and others like him. Truly all American. God bless you Chris and thanks. Bradley Jay , Colorado cowboy.
My fiancee has introduced me to a lot of great musicians that I had heard of but never really listened to. Chris LeDoux is one of them! He dedicated this song to me. Even tho we don't always see eye to eye, i know he loves me like no one else ever could! I love him more every day!

Just look at you, girl
Standin' here beside me
Starlight on your hair
Lookin' like a dream
I dreamed somewhere
And look at me, girl
You got me actin' just like a lover
In an old time picture show
And how I got the part
I just don't know
But it's written all across your face
Plain as it can be
You're the one that I was lookin' for
Now you're all that I can see
You mean everything to me
And I'd do anything to have you stay forever
I'm an ordinary man
But I feel like I could do anything in the world
When I look at you, girl
Just look at you, girl
Walkin' here beside me
Misty morning light
I see my own reflection in your eyes
And just smile at me, girl
With eyes that tell a story
That words can never say
Tellin' me your love is gonna stay
And we're standin' right together now
In everything we do
And if my world should come apart
I'll still be lovin' you

Yea we would go to get the hay with Chris on the 8 track
I love your music!! I wish you were still here!
Quite a man. Quite an artist, and as a fellow rodeo rider, he was one hell of a cowboy.
I/we danced to this song with my former wife of 25 years back then. Saturday Jan 1st our daughter and I danced to this song for her father daughter dance at her wedding. She selected it just for dad. Love you Rylie!
SO BEAUTIFUL SONG! Pretty Amazing Voice! Beautiful...U.S.A
Glad to have meet you the night you played Colorado Springs many many years ago.
Hi mary👋
Best day .with you ❤️
Hello dear. How are you doing?
Chris LeDoux swelled up on in the hearts of his many fans
