@@noelrockz1 it’s a TV show. It seems like this is what happens every day they are on the job. How many parties do they throw? How many useless meetings. Jim spending hours setting up pranks on Dwight. Endless group discussions.

Nobody really. in the first season they had random filler people in the background, fun fact the episode where creed almost got fired over Dennis on halloween, they were deciding whether to actually keep creed or him so there was a 50/50 chance that we wouldn’t even have had creed and would’ve had Dennis instead

I read somewhere that the office olympics is the turning point of michael. From being annoying boss to annoyingly caring boss
No lie this is sometimes how it is working in an office. Obviously not to this extreme, but when you're bored you can get really creative. It sucks working from home during COVID cause now I'm just as bored and can't kill time with co-workers
I always wished the betting and games came back, even subtlely, in the back of more episodes. It was such a great idea.

Is it just me or does Jim's voice sound like a post-recording edit when he says, "Ok, we will be competing for gold, silver, and bronze yogurt lids." Quote @ the 2:47 mark. It seems like there's a different inflection in his voice when he starts saying gold and the pitch seems strange. The camera also goes down to the medals and off of his face at this point, so you can't sync what you hear with how his mouth is moving. Am I going crazy?

I've played this game with friends where we bet money over the dumbest things.
Truth be told, it doesn't matter who wins or not, it's just fun to mess around with friends.
Honestly, this is why many mid-sized and large companies have stuff like table tennis and basketball. Working at a desk all day is difficult. You need to get up and move around a little bit to keep a good mood and stamina.
I feel like the dove thing is dwight's idea.
