It's been a while since I watched this video, so I don't know if I misremembered the quote or what, but in my mind I was comparing Dwight having an affair with Angela while she was engaged (I thought) to Andy with Jim trying to get Pam to break off her engagement with Roy to be with him (but not being with her in an ongoing way in the middle of her engagement). When Pam refused to break it off with Roy, Jim took a position a Stamford in reaction. Two very different outcomes, but again maybe I got the context wrong.
