keep in mind that this was dunder mifflin’s most profitable branch. think about that
I’m not surprised, when these people did work they were working hard(enough), and half of these people were middle aged and experienced like Stanley for example, they just know what their doing.
Besides it’s a paper company so how hard can it be, besides those other branches had worse managers than Michael which is very ironic. I don’t think any of the managers had a good relationship with David Wallace, that’s why none of them stayed as long.
There is the theory that the Scranton branch is only doing so well because the accounting department launders money or smth

It’s filmed in an old Black Angus that was shut down and resdesigned for the show, could still be a chili’s manager they hired just for the scene

I heard on the Office Ladies podcast that the ornaments given to her was made of plastic so they bounce instead of breaking upon throwing them, so she improvised the part where she stepped on them out of frustration.

The way that Jim looks at Pam when she's drunk is the cutest thing 🥺
Jim's a creep. Pam is engaged. He slinks around behind Roy's back taking advantage of his proximity to her in the workplace to undermine their relationship and muddy the waters when Pam should really be able to go to work without this loser secretly pining over her and orbiting her desk like the beta opportunist he truly is. He pretends to be her friend for years then when she truly trusts him as a friend (even Roy trusts him by telling him to watch after her as he goes home early on casino night) blindsides her with his sappy love confession out of nowhere confusing Pam, then proceeds to follow her up to a dark office, interrupt the phone conversation with her Mom, and stands between her and the door, leaning in to kiss her uninvited. Pam submits out of a combination of feeling uncomfortable and the confusion of her best friend just basically turning their relationship upside down. Pam now knowing she's cheated on Roy has destroyed the bond with her and Roy, and broke his trust completely. She has no choice to call off the wedding and eventually, with little to no other choices in Scranton, settles for marrying Jim after he irresponsibly knocks her up on purpose ensuring he would have a forever bond with Pam, the object of his sick obsession, a choice she would later regret.
So NO, it's not cute at all.

XO kill3r, she really had no bond with Roy. Roy didn’t support her, trust her, love her, or care for her. Pam clearly loves Jim but felt trapped in a relationship with Roy because they had known each other since at least high school. When she got with Jim she became more assertive and confident. Jim actually loved her, supported her, and cared about her (unlike Roy). Jim even though he wanted to be with Pam left the state because he thought they had no chance and trued as much as he could to move on. Pam realized she wants to be with Jim and breaks up with Roy, but then Jim moves and is then with Karen and Pam clearly can’t stand being without him. Watch almost any scene they’re in together and her eyes are tell everything that she clearly loves him.

Here’s a little fun fact: Pams acting in the Chillies scene was actually a pretty long process. Apparently the day/night before the filming of that, Jenna and Angela went and practiced getting drunk. Angela took tons of notes and they basically had to recreate what she did. It was also her first time ever drunk acting.
I think it was actually Jenna Fischer/Pam and BJ Novak/Ryan.

Yeah I’ve been watching it in on peacock when I can’t find anything to watch. There’s a few episodes I haven’t seen so hoping it’s exciting when i get to them. I didn’t care for the office later seasons as much after Michael left though.
Remember, if Pam never got drunk, she would’ve never kissed Jim

Before the chillis episode Angela and Pam went out together to practice drunk acting, Pams actress got drunk and Angela's actress took notes on her behaviour. It was her first time acting drunk so they used her real drunk habits which in this case was getting loud 🤣

Honestly I actually enjoyed Jim's time in Stanford. I would have liked if he was there a little longer

I was pleasantly surprised when rewatching early Season 3 about how much I liked the Stamford scenes. I especially liked seeing Karen falling for Jim's dorky ways.

I was always a fan of the late-night work scene within the Stamford branch. Pretty sure we've all had stay late into the night for a shift at one point in our careers, just shows that those moments are just a bit better with awesome company

I think the reason why ppl find it so entertaining to see jim drunk (those ppl definitely include me) is because he is the constant in the show of normalcy and to see that be broken down for a few minutes adds to the hilarious chaotic energy XD
