    Good video!! Annie did a great job being so patient with the kids helping unwrap those eggs! I was nervous for her. 😂 love the kids and the end too. 🎉 hopefully this incubator works well for y’all! ~M

      Thank you 😊!! She did very well 😂 cause I’d have been like “Nope y’all gotta go!!” They enjoy watching and helping unwrap eggs and watching them hatch, especially Kiera!! Fingers crossed this incubator will do well for us and hatches a ton of eggs but we’ll do a update video on how well it preforms!!

    I have the same unit. I am fortunate enough to have an unused small bathroom in my garage.
    I put the incubator, a humidifier and a ceramic heater in there.
    I also bought an 18x18 inch pet warmer from Amazon for $20 to put under the incubator to even out the bottom bin temp.
    I keep the bathroom at 75 and 50% humidity and it seems to have made the units heater stop turning on/off as often.
    I'll keep ya posted!

    Thank you so much for this review!!! My husband and I are really struggling with the different settings. Have you guys figured out how to manually change settings to what you want them to be, or have you just used the preset stuff for the types of eggs listed on the face of the incubator top? We also can not get the rotator to stay on according to the timer; We have been able to get it to rotate, but not on a set time. It's just really complicated to us, and we are looking for someone to explain all the buttons!
    Thanks again, loved the video!

      Thank you so much 😊, I’ll try to help but may need to do a video on this in the very near future, so if you want to reset days and lets say you’re hatching chickens, all you have to do is change from chickens to something else and then go back to chickens and that will reset your days. If you want to lower the temperature press and hold the temp button and when it flashes start to change it to the desired temperature and same for the humidity. The rotator though I’m not sure cause it rotates mine like once an hour and I didn’t do anything to make it that way so I’m not sure on that one. It is a little tricky cause it’s not very well explained in directions, I hope this helps some but if not feel free to ask more questions cause that’s why I started the channel was to help people!!😊😊😊

    Mine is 36 eggs capacity.. For my 1st hatch it was 💯... From the 2nd, I discovered the turner wasn't working, I had to keep pressing the + button manually to make it rotate a complete cycle, so I do that 3 to 4 times daily... It's stressful... I don't know if it's a setting issue..... Please advice.

    • @heavenlyhillshomestead9465
      @heavenlyhillshomestead9465  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the rotator isn’t working automatically I would say it’s either a timer issue or a broke timer internally. You doing it manually is good and twice a day is sufficient cause I have old school styrofoam incubators that I have to hand turn each egg twice a day 😆… I think I would play with the settings a little to see if I could get it to work, there should be a count down and it should rotate every 2 hours I think but if it’s not rotating then you may want to contact HETHYA on Amazon and see if they can either help you to fix it or send you a new top. Sorry I couldn’t help you more!!

      There’s several other videos I’ve done on the incubators, they’re all still working and hatching out chicks like crazy!! Even added a second one to keep up with all the eggs!! We’ve hatched out everything from quails to geese in them and they’ve done great with all of them. Just be sure to keep a close eye on the humidity and make sure you have plenty of water inside at all times to make that humidity stay at the right level. Also when your eggs are getting ready to hatch like the last 3 days, do not open the incubator as that will cause issues with the eggs that haven’t hatched yet. Other than that you should be good but if you have a question just reach out and I’ll try to help!!

    Can you explain where the water goes? Instructions are vague.

    • @Bigislandguy
      @Bigislandguy หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It comes with hose from the incubator to a round plastic that’s supposed to hold the water bottle? The bottle doesn’t seal and leaks water everywhere so at this point, I am somewhat lost in translation.

    • @heavenlyhillshomestead9465
      @heavenlyhillshomestead9465  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Mine doesn’t have that, on this one I add water in the bottom water channels and then if water needs added through the incubation process I add it through the hole in the side bottom chamber. My small HETHYA has a pump that comes with it and I use a old soda pop or water bottle to put water in and then add the hose that the pump sucks it out of and into the center of the incubator. Sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance with this but it sounds like a new feature they added that isn’t on my big HETHYA incubators.

    • @heavenlyhillshomestead9465
      @heavenlyhillshomestead9465  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it’s beeping it’s either low or high temp or a humidity issue, the only way to fix it is to check humidity, temp and figure which it is. If it’s humidity add water to it and if it’s temp see if it’s low or high. If it’s low I suggest setting it up higher to help keep the temp up and if it’s high temp move it closer to the floor to level it off. It shouldn’t be a issue though unless you have extreme temp swings from a fire place or stove so with that said check the lid and make sure it’s on tight!! Also I always keep my styrofoam that it comes in for insulation that way it doesn’t have to work as hard and if the power kicks for some reason it helps buy a little time!! @@autumnefoley2924 you’re very welcome!! So far so good with this one!! It’s hatched out one and getting ready to hatch out loads more. They’re all growing good, I will say because it’s so big it is a little harder to keep the humidity up compared to smaller ones so be on the look out for that!!

      @@heavenlyhillshomestead9465 I bought to little digital thermometers and put one on each level. The bottom is reading a lower temp and higher humidity and top is reading higher temp and lower humidity. Both Temps are lower than what the incubator is set at. Did you have to adjust your temp at all or just left it at what it was programmed to?

      @@autumnefoley2924 ours is on 100.4 and the temp throughly is good. We use a laser temp gun to check, only issues we’ve had are the humidity getting low a little faster then we’re used to

    Im currently using this incubator and it is horrible. The egg turner design sucks and they keep rolling off. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS INCUBATOR.
    this incubator is not designed well and has issues. It is cheaply made and the egg rollers barley function. Unfortunately most reviews are exchanged for free products from sellers

      We’ve never had a problem from it, we’ve hatched out everything from quail to geese. It’s been the best incubator we’ve had at that price point and even comparable to our more expensive ones. If it’s not working properly I’d contact the company, they’ve been very responsive!!

      No this incubator has a huge defect in the egg turning mechanism. I would not recommend it. The rollers are a joke and their is no way

      Have you taken out the 'hatch mats"? If they are in there with the rollers, the rollers do not sit completely down on the rotating mechanism and it causes a ton of issues. Also- my hatch mats were warped and I put them in at first with the rollers, and it really messed it up. Hope that is helpful!@@shariff4175
