I've never seen that for a single piece but when I was younger a fella on a framing crew I worked around would cut a stack of lumber at the same time with one, pretty cool to watch.
I spent 5 freaking weeks to build my woodshed and it looks like crap. Next summer, I'm turning the whole thing into firewood and building one like this. Thanks for the nice clean design.
I've never in my life, seen anyone use a chainsaw to cut 2x4s. Just use the most dangerous tool known to man, instead of a chop saw. Who's idea at Stihl was this?
Hi Craig, thanks for your honest feedback. One should of course be wearing proper safety equipment and be well trained in handling a chainsaw. Using a chop saw for this job would be perfectly fine as well. 🙂
I just finished building one out of pallets I got for free and spare hardwood boards I had. The only thing I did differently which wasn't intentional was the angle of the roof is lower at the front Would this be any disadvantage vs water running off from the back ? I noticed most videos of this design have the water running down at the back instead I want to have my storage sitting against a shed wall
Awesome that you were able to build this out of spare parts! 👏 Regarding your question, it's hard to tell from a distance if the lower angle would lead to rain soaking the wood from the front. We'd suggest checking this with a bit of water and maybe adding more length to the front out of your preferred material if this turns out to be a problem.

Hi I really like your design, I’ve watched many videos and I’m going with your design. By the way I use a chainsaw on my property for many projects. (Old guy from Arkansas)🇺🇸

Cute little woodshed for the metro dude that needs enough wood for the occasional ambiance fire. Serious woodburners would need something likely 10x this size.
We understand your concerns. It's important to prioritize safety and proper construction practices. Rest assured, we'll review the design to ensure it's up to standard. Thank you for your input!
Wow i needed this. Foundation without concrete.
Who uses a chain saw to cut lumber????
I love my Stihl chainsaws, but thought the same. Starting and stopping it would be annoying. Plus circular saw is much more precise.

A chainsaw company making a commercial.
@@Paine137 good point lol
Who used gloves, ear pro and safety glasses?
Why use a circular saw for precision cuts when you have your trusty chainsaw.
I chuckled at your comment but I don't have a circular saw but I do have a chainsaw. 😂😂
The corporate music is torture

We're happy to have inspired you! 💪
It only cost 25000 for the timber at today's prices.
Vote accordingly

Lol I was thinking the same thing
Just look at all the Stihl tools I need to buy. 😂
They do get the job done exceptionally well!

Hey could I get the measurements in UK metric please? And do you have the actual plans?

Square the line then use a chainsaw for precision cuts. Got it.

Hi Steven, that's awesome! Thank you for being part of the STIHL community! We really appreciate it. 💪
Shouldn't you use a skill saw
or a miter saw
Are plans in Standard measurements available?
Hi there, are you in need of UK or US measurements?
@@Stihl US please.

What is the real name of the foundation stone? :D because I totally cannot find it and also I have no idea what could it be in Hungarian :D
Hi there, those are precast concrete blocks which are primarily used in the construction of walls.
Same here… cant find them at all
How to build a firewood shelter without a circular saw
It would be great if the dimensions were all in both imperial and metric.

This is America buddy
where are the actual plans to build the shed?

Yeah pour gravel all around the foundation stones, makes it fun when weed-eating.
About the same cost as a reasonably priced bungalow… Chainsaw not included…

You can certainly go larger, depending on your needs. 🙂
It all depends on how long and cold your winters are... Like all carpentry framing, you can simple extend it as long as you want with more sections.
Why use a steak knife to cut steak when you can use a range of chain saws............nobody of sound mind would use a chainsaw to build a wood store..
Thank you for your feedback!
This is absurdly bad in design. Vertical loads should be born by wood, not fasteners. Don't build this.

lmao... cut timber automatically splits!
😂Damn...all the tool companies done went wokeville.
