I got the Gamesir G7 SE and it's an awesome controller. Especially at the price which was under $40. Feels better than Power A which I would use to buy.
Agree. After owning Elite and Elite II controllers and a SCUF Instinct Pro, I'd take the G7 SE over all of them. I can buy 5 for the price of the SCUF. I get Hall Effect sticks and triggers. I love the back paddle and the feel of the sticks. I haven't tried the Kaleid but I can tell that I don't like the way it looks. Seems like a mid 90's Civic tuner. It looks dated. The G7 SE is clean and very functional so that's my pick.
@BongoisaPyro OK cool my bad. definitely possible I wonder how easy it would be to take Kaleid apart to fit the scuff sticks to it (like I have on G7SE) I guess kontroll freek are an option I just like the doomed scuff stick on the right stick. I will say after trying many hall efect controllers Gamesir seem to used the best hall effect module........I am tempted to pick up an xbox kaleid tho as my flydigi apex 4 died after 2 days!
G7 se has magnetic customisable faceplate and you can interchange black thumb sticks if you wanted with scuf instinct pro thumb sticks. Add in the 1000hz polling rate I think the g7 se is a clear winner. Also you don’t have to use any tool to get into the g7 se the screws are under the magnetic faceplate.
Kaleid has 1000hz too. It's been added. Gamesir updated it too. As for the faceplates, there are very few and rather overpriced. It's why I didn't purchase them, but I meant you can use the tool to take off the faceplate if you want. I realized how it came across during editing.
@@RedBandanaGaming The 1000hz polling rate on Kaleid doesn't work on xbox. It says 1000hz but tests show it doesn't operate on that frequency and it's unstable. Another youtuber proved this using a high speed camera
Maybe I missed it in the video, but how do the ABXY buttons compare on these two? On the G7 SE I find they have very nice short travel and fast acuation. Are they the same on the flux or feel different?
Possibly because the left stick isn’t being accidentally activated anymore. If it was slight the game would activate dynamic aim assist for that. Make sure you’re moving your left stick around while shooting
Quick question. I heard flydigi is better. But i dont wanna spend 150. So what do u recommend? I heard g7se was the best, low latency and all. High poll rate.
Flydigi is what I use on PC. These I use on Xbox. Flydigi Vader 4 Pro has 1000hz. If you're gaming on PC, I would recommend that or the Apex 4. For Xbox, use either of these.
Thanks for doing the reviews but if you could do your review more based on the functionality of the controllers (hall effects, mechanical vs membrane buttons) and not so much what you like about the looks because that is subjectable to people opinion's. Don't want to watch a review of something to hear what you think about to looks. Just a suggestion not trying to be a dick
I mentioned that in the initial videos when I covered them both the first time. It is just repeating the same thing. This video is the differences between the two, not the similarities. It's why I state that this is a follow up.
I have both the kaleid flux and the g7se just want to try to dial in the most optimal settings via their gamesir app for Halo infinite any tips? Came from a scuf that had massive drift and left stick issues with sprint not working Hoping someone sees this thx!
Update your controllers using the Gamesir app for Xbox if you haven't. You'll then have 1000hz polling rate in each controller. With hall effect sticks and triggers and that 1000hz, you'll be set. I honestly prefer the Flux simply due to design feel, but both controllers are some of the best on the market now.
@@RedBandanaGaming Thx bro, subbed! Do you know if deadzones should be zero in the app/game for max aim assist in Halo? I heard from a few pros and in general that drift gives more aim assist with slight stick drift, Unsure how to go about it with these controllers.

They are very similar all around. The difference is the Flux doesn't have tactile buttons, it has membrane. I liked the design of the Flux better. That's why I chose it.
Ordered a GameSir Kaleid Flux thanks for the advice!
Thanks for the video you gave me enough push to pull the trigger and order one I can't wait for it to arrive

That's a bargain for under $40. Worth every penny. 👍🏻

It's good.
Hei bro how is the controller working for you after 4 months
Awesome video some good options
G7 SE is an amazing controller plus you can switch out the sticks for the scuff ones for adjustable shape and height etc
Kaleid can do the same..
No not withought taking controller apart as the G7SE has a removable face plate and the sticks can be removed withought tools

They are the same. Buttons feel identical to each other on both of these.

Amazing gamepads. Im using g7 he and i have no words to describe that feeling.
Do they have the same vibration motors or is there any difference??? Spec Sheet says the Kaleid should have better haptic feedback
i just feel like i lose aim assist on g7 se compared to my normal xbox controller, is the sticks same for both?
Depends on what you're playing, I guess. I haven't noticed that issue with anything I've played thus far.
Facts definitely warzone

just get the g7 se. It’s got more features, better, and for around the same price. Its easy
Is there any difference in the sticks because the sticks on the g7 are too loose or they are the same
They are the same hall effect sticks.
Is the d-pad also membrane just like the buttons on the Flux?
G7 se vs kaleid? Or other? Considering hall effect; haptic effect and adaptive triggers for pc
