- Where it all started... Back to the beginning, I got older, so did u all...
My advice? move South! Cold weather is known to create severe brain damage. At one point, Balkan Shipyards lost hundreds of workers, due to freezing temperatures... We almost lost the Business, as result of a hurricane that hit the stock markets turning our shares into promises on paper...
Yet we're worth our weight in Gold, therefor we survived.

Always nice to be on good terms with the shop folks. Ive used work spaces just by knowing the right people. Location is a resource.

You haven't seen the 2 CNC machines in the next room Chris. The table saw in the middle, the smoothest planer and thicknesser I ever used, blades razor sharp and 260 mm long. To the North of that one lays a cast iron spindle moulder, and then further down another one... it goes on and on...
He's geared! That's his dream, When ever I can, I do all I can... We're friends, for those, you will work and give all you got. Cos when they need, you go, when you need they come.... Yet there will always b issues....

Your next challenge is to master finding work as your cruising so you can keep going without having to run back to the cold places for work 🤞But it's nice to have friends that pass you work 👍
Dave I find work where I go, never done it off a boat though...
I worked myself through Europe, living on a bicycle... Worked North America living in vans, Asia living in a bus, living in cars. Tents in forests, near water, you go to town on the bike, evening come back to the tent...
Never done it on water yet, though boat work happens on land anyway, so it's probably gonna b roughly the same...

When i see slabs of wood like that, and machines...........i see boats. Keep shunting the Algo.
I quit shunting the Algo mate. He's inferior to us, too many come down to hard on AI. He's actually an amazing accomplishment, yet at present he is surely inferior.
Do u live off him or not? is he a threat or not?? Ai doesn't like Balkan Shipyards, we don't pay him! Why would he like us?
Yet we didn't like him to begin with, so, there for, it's all truly our fault. I suppose....
