Jon, great videos, i know you browse the 4 g network forum………id like to give you a suggestian. Next time you have an interveiw with SHELDON id come right out and skip all the bullshit, and ask him why are guys brand new trucks blowing apart, yes very few but guys are having issues that a new truck shouldnt have, id come right out and say hey sheldon…skip the toyota promotional BS. Why are guys having transmissions, warning lights, all kinds of issues and then some are flawless …i think toyota has missed the bar and went on cheap labor by moving assembly to mexico…seriouse this has to be a thought, bad paint, trannies, digital issues , clutches, what the hell is going on MR SHELDON……
@@danielreynolds3434 I had husky, nothing really wrong with them. I just found them plastic-y and slippery when wet. Fitment was good though. Lasfit has a much more rubber feel, like oem but much more coverage.
My tundra has a spray-in liner. Like it a lot, but stuff slid around. I purchased a WeatherTech bed mat and that shut it all down. Nothing slides. I think if I put an empty bucket in that it might but I haven’t tested it.
The only time I felt it was frustrating dealing with your stuff that won’t slide is when you have packs of water you’re either trying to load and unload from the grocery store, besides that it’s still worth getting
Is the tundra better overall or is the Tacoma making the most sense these days, thinking about costs to purchase and gas up, ride quality, liveability ie the tundra seems more roomy, reliability, towing, aesthetics tundra is better for me, turning radius which I know the tundra isn't great. A Toyota salesperson took me for a ride and a tundra of platinum long wheel base that was lifted on 35s here in Tacoma Washington today and I have to admit I was impressed. It was comfortable. It was fast like much much quicker than my Subaru outback 2.5 and it just looks good to me. And then you think about now that we have the Land cruiser kind of in the same price point and then I think also the Sequoia would be something to consider too. Just giving that it's the same motor and a little bit shorter than the truck and thereby being a bit more maneuverable in town and parking and such. But I don't know. I definitely am at a dilemma. I was totally Hook line and sinker on the Land cruiser situation but it doesn't have a sunglass holder. That seems so weird
I'd love to get some opinions and I'm not too worried about any kind of engine troubles that may be occurring in the tundras or whatever. I think that Toyota will stand behind their product yet. Maybe aggravating if you have a problem but over time that stuff will be fixed. Toyota incrementally fixes their products and overall I trust in that more so than other brands
Bought these for my 5th Gen, as per your recommendation but come on, we all know you ain’t putting anybody in the backseat of the that truck, especially on the “hump”. Truck is looking great by the way.
I had them on my last Tundra and it wasn;t the best. Yes they are US made which I love to support as well which I do with plenty other mods on my channel and companies I support. Lasfit is an American based company at least supporting employees rather than a full company that just sells directly from China. I also bought my first set of these mats too years ago before they were given to me for free for content. So I truly like them.
How can such overpriced truck not afford a little extra rubber. Is Toyota being taken over by Boeing accountants? I just saw a shock come out on the other side because of a part that looked more suited to a bicycle than a truck...Im surprised the hood rod isnt just a wood stick they found in Mexico near the factory
Nah, dude has 4 in his driveway. He loves that shit. He just gets pissy when people call him a Toyota fanboy, so he tries to offset it in the thumbnails and find something little to "complain" about while pushing a new product he got for free.
@@RedForeman4x4 I don’t think he loves them, I do think he’s a fanboy, but still complains about how he heard the wind blow through the window and it made noise, or his cup rattled in the cup holder while driving 45 mph. It’s a bit of a one trick pony, then he’ll get a new truck/car and nitpick everything and sell it. Not a true fanboy, but one just in it for the clicks.
@@michaelp6479 I see what you're saying. It seemed like such a race between all the TH-camrs to be the FIRST to build up their 4th Gen Tacos, and now that truck is done and just going to sit in his driveway getting minor modification videos until he moves it for something else. He doesn't need a Tacoma for anything in his life other than TH-cam.
if you drove my last Tundra you'd realize how crappy it was with wind noise and the rattles. It is long term term testing. People complain when people sell too fast and don't do longer term reviews, and then it seems like modificactions for a vehicle we are keeping for those long term reviews to keep it relevant on the channel are "just for clicks"? Man, just can't win. Also, I've said that I regret building the Taco too fast, but oh well, live and learn for sure. There are more mods coming for it so ima keep enjoying it.
Weathertech is a horrible company. Their mats are slightly too big so when you close the door, the mats rub on the doors. They know about this. But people still buy it so they keep selling it as it is. Junk
Are you sure you’re saying it correct. Your pronunciation just doesn’t sound right and since they are laser fit, I would suspect it might be “LAZFIT”🤷🏻♂️

I got Lasfit for my 2024 4Runner they are great. Better than Toyota’s all weather mats.
So much better!
Best review I’ve seen on these so far. Seeing the kettlebell was pretty hilarious 😂
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm glad it didn't bust the bed lol
I bought these for my 4Runner. Way better than husky in my opinion.
I've heard that from several individuals.
What do you like more, compared to husky? Mine are perfect fit and durable on the 3rd gen taco.
@@danielreynolds3434 I had husky, nothing really wrong with them. I just found them plastic-y and slippery when wet. Fitment was good though. Lasfit has a much more rubber feel, like oem but much more coverage.
@@steviedingledangle7982 that makes sense and agree. Much more of a durable plastic, inside. I just have a lipless random bed liner outside.
That looks super premium and fantastic coverage
For sure!
They look better than the WeatherTech and Husky ones!
Haven't seen those yet for the Tacoma in person but these are THICCC
Mine were delivered today. Looks like a great product.
Saw them on your video.
Hope you enjoy it!

Was the first thing I did on my new-to-me Taco
Super solid!
Lastfit definitely have “several inches” over the stock mats.
lol
Thanks for the new video I was waiting for them I have the Tacoma Matt’s which don’t cover much. I’ll order on Amazon . Thanks Jon!
Make sure you use the code! Save some $$$$
@@TRDJon how do put your code on Amazon at check out?
I believe there is a code box at checkout

wish I could get some lasfit liners for my first gen Taco, but they dont make them. :(
I just got a set for my 2024 Tacoma. I absolutely love them! I highly recommend them to other Tacoma owners.
Right on! Glad you like them!
I see a bunch of ppl with them. Hope they make ones for manuals soon
Any update on the noise you heard on LC from around wind shield area?
I wish I could get them just contacted Manufacture and they don't ship to Canada
even with the amazon link?
@@TRDJon correct Amazon Canada is different than US some items will not ship here
Ah dang!
I wish I knew about this before I bought the oem for my 24 TRD Tacoma Sport!
They just released them a few weeks ago or so

Sold!
I’ve purchased weather tech in for all my trucks….been pretty good. I need to buy a set for my new 4R so curious how the Lasfit hold up
Yeah, a comparison video with weather tech would be nice. I wonder how they compare price wise 🤷♂️
Good stuff! Yea I've had them in my 4R for years and theyve been great thus far.
I'm in the same boat. My 24 tacoma came with the plastic bed liner and everything just slides around. Kinda a let down for a truck this price
Yea its the con of a composite bed. The taco has been like that i believe since the 1st gen.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Are these mats dark grey or black? only see black on the website
They are blacker
Wow. Toyota really keeping out these days the all weather floor mats for the 5th gen Toyota are way better

Do you know if these will work for the Hybrid version?
Double check their site but I think they do
