I mean my degree was for carbon fiber manufacturing and if it's any consolation you did better here than most of the idiots I went to school with lmfaoooo
I gotta say, I admire your perseverance. If I saw flaws that early in the process my tendency is to destroy and change plans. Congrats on conquering it.
I really like your honesty and showing the repairs during this process. I still think it looked fantastic but that’s why I’m a viewer and not a do-er 😂😂😂
You know what, that looks bloody brilliant. I love this build, my favourite by far on the tube. I was not into the change of front end to begin with but this is going to look so great when it’s done. Bravo 👏
That is amazing! The scan, to 3D printed mold, to part is a gamechanger. So much time is saved and much less fitting and adjusting, with amazing results.
Can you make a video on how you go from a CAD design to your 3D printed mould? The work you do is incredible and the way you use the 3D printing to make your moulds seems like it helps take away a lot of work. Keep up the awesome work!
Nice light pod. Making a lot of pieces are a cool effect i've seen done before. You can use that later on in this build. Lookng forward to more vedeos of this build.
Finally, a real carbon fiber done in the traditional matter well other second or third party brand are sometimes not really carbon fiber or realistically speaking, is Hydro dipping like pudding, a solid part into a paint of water
This thing is looking so good! Been watching basically since you made the louvers and rear wing and every step has been painstakingly well executed. But.... with that FD front fascia on there... it needs a rotary engine in there now! Not sure if you're even allowed to engine swap where you live, but that would be the chefs kiss to this magnificent machine. Just simple, street ported NA 13b with some ITBs would set this thing off! Just my two cents though. Didn't even consider rotary until a couple videos when you first started grafting in the FD bumper. Anyway, you sir are truly an automotive inspiration that I could easily see surpassing some of the greats out there. You got the skills, the vision and the fortitude to see a job done to the end. You're looking to be the JDM Chip Foose! I'd already rather get you to build a car than the likes of Akira Nakai.
Bon travail Tofu.
You make it look easy and it's not anywhere near easy. More brilliant content, thank you so uch for sharing with us. Cheers from Texas (although next week I move to near Aspen, CO. to retire)
You've probably heard of it, but I use something called 'car system carbo spray filler' at work, it's a high build polyester clear that specifically designed to be sprayed onto carbon to fill voids and pinholes. They also have a putty that's quite handy.
I love the splitters, widebody, aerohubs, these new rally lights and just the overall feel. I wish my V could roll in this beautiful Miata in Cyberpunk 2077! If you ever autoshow it somewhere in central Japan I wanna have a look in person. XD
Hey Tofu! Tbh, i trust your skill and craftsmanship and all, but i didn't saw it, until you screwed in the frames for the lights... sick looking light pod, i have to admit. The yellow tint makes it even cooler. Overall it looks stunning and totally fits the futuristic "rat" style of the car. Great work! Keep on grinding - love your content and like always i enjoyed every minute of it! ❤
Sorry bro, I asked on another vid where you are in Australia. Realised you're in NZ. Im new to your vids, and I love it. No sh1t talking slow vids. Your editing skills are great too. Keep it coming! Chur Bro
always tricking us into watching you sand something
🤣🤣🤣
Everything gotta be carbon now... You've unlocked a new skill.. LOL
Probably too expensive
I treat carbon fiber the same way I treated my degree, prove to myself that I have the skills to do it, so that I can then completely ignore it.
I mean my degree was for carbon fiber manufacturing and if it's any consolation you did better here than most of the idiots I went to school with lmfaoooo
@@TofuAutoWorks I am in this picture and I don't like it. XD
@@TofuAutoWorks ahahahahahahaahah
Two hot glue guns at the same time! You're the John Wick of gluing!
John Stick
I gotta say, I admire your perseverance. If I saw flaws that early in the process my tendency is to destroy and change plans. Congrats on conquering it.
just woke up and got to watch almost a full hour of some great car content... yeah, life is good
Straight outta science fiction. That slight "tap" when the small gap closed when first fitting the printed parts together was *nice*.
Ah yes, my favorite sanding channel that also just so happens to have a car.
I really like your honesty and showing the repairs during this process. I still think it looked fantastic but that’s why I’m a viewer and not a do-er 😂😂😂
You should make a workshop or tutorials on fibreglass moulding, people would definitely pay for it
You know what, that looks bloody brilliant. I love this build, my favourite by far on the tube. I was not into the change of front end to begin with but this is going to look so great when it’s done. Bravo 👏
that "pre-shading" was the move. really slick, adds dimension. nicely done.
Definitely One of the coolest things on the internets right now. This, and Crucible Coach Work’s 60’s themed super car build.
This just looks cool. Like the huracan sterrato
That is amazing! The scan, to 3D printed mold, to part is a gamechanger. So much time is saved and much less fitting and adjusting, with amazing results.
Your aesthetic sense is just wicked! And you have the execution to pull it all off too. Its a rare combination.
Both your cars are so cool and I’m so impatient for updates on both of them. The light pod turned out great
Exquisite craftsmanship. You are clearly a master.
Your videos are definitely a highlight of my day such an awesome and unique build
That looks so incredible. The jump from Miata front era lights to this is astonishing
I'm vegetarian, and I'm looking all the new episodes of this channel religiously. It seems that tofu is a very important part of my life.
36:40 that mist of black really adds to the looks ❤
Always a better day when theres some TOFU!
Final product in carbon looked amazing! Hope you'll do more in the future.
Meticulous attention to detail mate!! Great skills
The back going into the bonnet looks great.
Best rally lights i habe seen so far 👍
Nothing short of an amazing piece of I can do anything with fiberglass, carbon and a 3d printer.
Fridays are my favorite when you load on Fridays! Much better than sundays
Really cool, I now understand why you are redoing it for an RX 7 style.
As usual, badass work man. 👌👌 The evolution of this build is inspiring.
condensing the black spray paint into the lid of the can to go in the air sprayer: evil genius level of of mod hacks! 😎
Never less than an inspiration, my man. Superb.
Your garage reminds me of my uncles back in the day I bet it smells amazing.
Mega cooles Projekt ✌️

Im following three builds right now and two are yours. Keep it up man this thing looks cooler and cooler every time you touch it. Truly a work of art
Hahah, awesome dude, thanks!
Really like the matte clear, it makes it subtle
Nice light pod. Making a lot of pieces are a cool effect i've seen done before. You can use that later on in this build. Lookng forward to more vedeos of this build.
I'm so glad you posted this. I now have a few things to try so the finish on my next carbon fiber part doesn't look like absolute garbage :)
the look is cool, it's a lil bit a rally touch 👀👀 ! Very good job !
Gotta love the sound of sanding and sheep. ❤
A new tin of release wax! I've been waiting for it haha.
Making somthing become reality just from ideas amazing is under statement great work once again 👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻
This project is perfectly imperfect! I really like your sence of detail.
I really like how the top of the pod looks with the way you did those chamfered edges. Looks super industrial but not inorganic. Good shit man
Every step I'm just slowly getting rid of the curves and original lines on this thing haha
This car is gonna look sick 🔥🔥🔥
Finally, a real carbon fiber done in the traditional matter well other second or third party brand are sometimes not really carbon fiber or realistically speaking, is Hydro dipping like pudding, a solid part into a paint of water

Cheers bro!
One of the original creators of the MX5 has seen this car and it was definitely a shock to them. I don't think he was a fan haha.
DOPE! love that matt finish
Yeah bro, the matte works so much better with this build than gloss.

Beautiful work! Always a pleasure and inspiration to watch your videos.
I am ALWAYS waiting for a new video when I saw that, that makes me feel cood
You didn't fail, you identified and area for improvement!

This build keeps getting better and better. Love it 👌🏽

Makes me want to put this on my MR2! I LOVE RALLY LIGHTS!
Nothing justifies the amount of work gone into making this light housing.
My favourite TH-cam car 😍
Very nice build, good job, always a pleasur to see your work. Very inspiring 🤘🤘
With bonet cutout it looks so much better. Great stuff!!
This car modification is something I would see on a Hot Wheels lol
I subscribed to this channel for the cyber punk! Please more!
Those look great! I don't think they need improving, just weathering
A miata that looks more like to an FD than a Miata tbh, in any case, it's a very good project
You've probably heard of it, but I use something called 'car system carbo spray filler' at work, it's a high build polyester clear that specifically designed to be sprayed onto carbon to fill voids and pinholes. They also have a putty that's quite handy.
If you make pleats on your bag where you know you're gonna have sharp corners you can prevent bridging with the extra bagging material.
I’ve learned a lot from these videos
I'm so inlove with your skills bro.
Loved it, as usual!
That piece looks stunning.. Full carbon bodied Stagea perhaps? 😁 That'd be sick.. And also enjoyable to watch
I love the splitters, widebody, aerohubs, these new rally lights and just the overall feel. I wish my V could roll in this beautiful Miata in Cyberpunk 2077! If you ever autoshow it somewhere in central Japan I wanna have a look in person. XD
Fingers crossed I'll be at Tokyo Auto Salon one year.
The glitch carbon pattern looks cool, bummer about the void.

Super dope man, keep up the good work!!
This car is looking soooo good!

That looks great! Kinda want to try it myself. Good work.
it came out incredible, so glad you didnt go with the glitched carbon. I dont think it works as well on this part
Dope, AF! Great addition.
Very slick.
love this build, it gives me ideas for my gmc
Man if you ever sold a kit or worked on anyone else’s I would buy that In a SNAP, RWB quality and looks amazing!
ti seguo dall'Italia, sei bravissimo complimenti 😉 top!👍🤝
