Just to say 'thank you' guys for this great video !...and thanks to Jarkko for developing the Nymphmaniac range of rods...I love using my 10ft 3wt for Euro nymphing and dry fly / dry-dropper fishing with small flies for UK wild brown trout and grayling !!!...it's become an extension of my arm :) ...also, congratulations on becoming a Vision Family Member...enjoy!
That was a tank at the end there! Beautiful fish. I did get a good laugh at the premature net grab and then he ran on you some more lol...that's happened to me on more than one occasion
Haha, yep. Sometimes when switching between different rod lengths it's hard to adjust the reach for landing the fish. :D And in this case it was last hour of our license and you just did not want to loose the fish..
Fabulous vid guys. I'm so looking forward to trying my hand at Euronymphing in the new season with my recently acquired Vision Nymphmaniac 10'6" 3wt. I had a great season last year on the UK Rivers Usk, Teifi and Tees using my Nymphmaniac 9'6" for targeted dry fly, after wild brownies. So this Year iIm going to be spoilt for choice. I love Vision fishing equipment, its of great quality and design.Tight Lines.
Very cool episode AHDATO for me.👏 I like euronymphnig. I´m fishing with Nymphmaniac 11´ #3 & 10´ #3 in Slovakia. It is a real pleasure to fish with these rods. I have some questions for Jarkko about the setup. Do you have the two color tippet directly connected to the ULN line? What knot do you use and the length of the indicator ? Thx 👍
Glad to hear you like the rods Michal! I use a minimal loop knot at the end of two tone tippet and connect the two with loop to loop connection. I usually use 5 to 6 meters of two tone tippet. But if you’re competing remember to limit your leader setup (indicator+tippet) to two rod lengths.
Good stuff! that fish was trained for escape in high water!!
Thank you guys for good video!
Excellent video! I have really enjoyed.
Your camera man got some beautiful shots of the scenery. Very amazing place. Would love to visit some day.
Yes Mika really knows how to film fishing..

Hey i recently bought the nymphmaniac sunglasses are they good for fishing from a boat
Have you considered using one of the semi automatic fly reels to catch fish? they are more efficient.
I have tried them in more than one occasion. Just doesn’t suit me. Also we don’t have them in Vision product range ;)
@@suominenjj Vision product range, what is that?
Mihin kohtiin nastat vision musta michelin kenkiin arvostaisin vastausta.
Moi Niko.
@@Visionflyfishing ok kiitos vastauksesta!
Would be interesting to see what there set up is from the nymph maniac fly line down to the actual fly leader
