How well does a trout handle swimming around with a fly and possibly a leader in its mouth after it snaps the line? Ive always wondered, and i think about that every time i lose a fish 😅
Great video, beautiful casting. But you would lose less fishes if you would use an upstream curved cast, and get as close to them as you possibly can, I like watching them raise and I see them better at short distance...

Cato is using the Rivermaniac in medium action here. Basically the fast action would work perfectly as well so it's mainly matter of choice and finding the right tools for right situations and conditions. The fast action is perfect when the tighter loops are needed for example in windier conditions. In the end it is very much up to your personal taste also.

It either pops out after a bit, or it just rusts out. So usualy it is not terible for the fish
