A tune on the clx got me from 61hp to 66hp peak at the wheels with a firetorch midpipe and a slip on muffler. Stock ECU was super lean right off idle, then really rich all the way through the rev range. Anyone who does tunes on the bmw bikes should have the tools to tune the clx (I think the tool is called Bimtuner... It's pretty pricey).

The first consideration should be the warranty. You've got 2 years unlimited mileage, but any exhaust mods or tuning will void it. After 23 months you can purchase another 3 years for not a lot of money.
After that, would you be able to take advantage of any small (3-5hp) increase where you're riding?
Then I'd remind you that we're still pretty much in the 1st year worldwide and there are LOTS of replacement parts that are simply not available. I just offered a Canadian dealer who isn't supposed to ship parts to the US US$200 for two CAD$87 Gear Indicator Sensors that are only $29.99 because CFMOTO didn't have any in the US. Service manuals also aren't available so I bribed my dealer with lunch or dinner for him and the wife to print out the wiring schematics so I can fix the USB port that's mounted vertically under the seat and sometimes sends a WARNING MOISTURE DETECTED" error to my phone. I also want to add some Denali light pods to the front and a white stealth LED bar to the rear with a push button on the bars to blast anyone who gets too close.
Finally, I'd ask if the increased fuel costs is going to make a difference to your monthly budget. Non-ethanol just dropped to $4.29 a gallon in Catskill, and I don't work so it's easy to drop $20-$25 a day riding for 3 hours. I just can't afford $600 a month, so I have to pick my days. I'm up to 6,359 with an average speed of 41.4mph over 153hours and I'm only getting 41mpg in Sport mode because I'm mostly on twisty back roads.
I found Speedometer Pro on the Play Store and it uses GPS without needing your phones data on. I've clocked myself twice 92+93 with the speedo showing 98+101 on the same road so the faster you are the more you're off.
I'm also a little ticked because, if you haven't seen it yet, the 2023 is blacked out except for the exhaust and it looks like you can get a black or brown seat!
