- In this deleted scene from our feature-length documentary "Trial & Triumph: Revelation's Churches" ( • Trial & Triumph: Revel... ), Dr. Mark Wilson takes Jeremy Dehut to what is known as St. John's Basilica in the city of Ephesus, where some believe the Apostle John was buried. While there, they step into some exciting early Christian history!

Excuse me, but wasn't the Apostle John in Patmos...?
History holds that John did not die in exile on Patmos, but was eventually released and eventually died in Ephesus.

@ 1:03 the form of Christianity that was legalized in Constantine's time was actually an apostasy from true Christianity; secular history does not teach that Constantine's new church was an apostasy because they couldnt possibly know; historians are not biblical scholars; so they assume this was actual Christianity and teach that's what it was; Constantine's New Church implemented many policies that Christ did not teach: constantine was more interested in a state religion that would support and unify his Government: Christianity was never meant to be a state agency 👸
May we ever strive to only live and teach the gospel that Jesus Christ and His inspired apostles brought to us - nothing more and nothing less!
