  • If you're thinking about owning a Doberman Pinscher, please think twice if you aren't going to have the time to exercise them. you will have a problem on your hand if you don't tire them out every day!

      Oh yes, another fast dog with tons of energy and stamina that you need to exercise out of them. They are smart too, just like Dobes.

    Dobies are the best dogs I've ever had the distinct pleasure to own! The negative stereotyping of them is totally without merit!

    I had several Dobes, and all were strong and athletic...but the one that just passed, Banzai, was the fastest of them all. I paced him at 35 (at least) MPH. However, for distances over a quarter mile I would ease him up to about 30-32 because he could go and go. I used to work at an greyhound track and had an old calibrated radar gun which I would clock him chasing after smaller prey or pacing beside my car in a rural area. I never let him off the leash in the urban setting, he was just too fast and strong and had a high prey drive. He would listen but man that drive was strong in him to chase like a sight hound. I love Dobermans I have been around fast dogs. We clocked a greyhound named Cayman Went over 45 MPH (look him up) at Derby Lane in St Petersburg. Greyhounds can hold their speed for up to a half mile, and can run further but at lesser speeds...I believe he may still hold the all time wins for stakes races in Greyhound racing. Also, they used to run the lure at 45 MPH and when the top dogs like CW or Talentedmrripley would run they would have to crank up the speed a few MPH or they were afraid they may touch the lure on the straightaway. I also worked and tried to rescue and place and many of those racing dogs as I could when they retired and then when they shut the tracks down. Of course the stars were used for breeding purposes.

      I never owned a dog that ran away feom me. From day one, they need to be taught who's in charge! Especially a dominant breed like Doberman Pinschers. Unconditional love along with teaching good behavior skills makes them always want to be by your side. I hope that answers your question 😊. Thank you so much for watching ❤

    Many years ago I had an Irish Setter and a mix breed. I took them to a huge park and did this. They loved it! I also owned two Dobermans. One I had to rehome (family owned a farm). A few years later I bought one after seeing a sign for sale. I chose the shyest one ($50). He grew to be 145 pounds. The BEST dog I ever owned. Gentle and friendly and not enough words to describe how smart. If you’re thinking of getting a dog, get a Doberman you won’t be sorry. 😊🙏🏼❤️🐕‍🦺

      I don’t know what to tell you. My dobbie was big! He was pure doberman not mixed. If you think I’m just throwing a number out there I’m not. If you think I’m exaggerating I’m not! Think what you want but I don’t lie. 😔❤️🙏🏼

      @@Glenns_Concho_Ranchnobody cares Glenn. I don’t think they’d be recording it if they didn’t know this dog was highly trained and won’t do so. If you make the argument a dog is a dog and they can attack at any moment no matter the training is just simply wrong. Don’t have that be your argument.

      My argument is the police dont give 2 shits how well trained a dog is. You get cited. I didnt say anything about the dog doing anything besides being off the leash.@@bh9891

      A doberman pinscher usually isn't dog aggressive. This dog is a superb athlete. One of the ways to reduce dog aggression is also vigorous non violent exercise such as running which the dog is doing . I don't doubt that dog is very well socialized and has basic obedience training. Plus it is beautiful to watch such a graceful canine athlete.

    • @johnjackson3394WELLEN
      @johnjackson3394WELLEN  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you Louis. Most people aren't used to the Doberman breed. My dogs are the best. I trained them and they aren't aggressive until they have to be. I socialized them from the start. You can walk up to my dogs and pet them. They're good, but they identify with bad immediately. They're Dobermans. The BEST! 😊
