    Ekadashi fasting once in 15days, once before Pournima and once before amavasya, goes for 2-3 days if done in a correct way,the body detox superbly.. People have forgotten or have been made to forget their culture, religion with all plan (by Britishers before leaving India by establishing their education system , praising Mughals in books who actually have destroyed the heritage of Bharath, Bollywood who made hindus to hate their own religion, made them ashamed of being hindu) have fallen So badly for Western culture to an extent of praising these type videos who are asking us to do what our ancestors used to do thousand thousand years back. Hinduism - Way of Life - So True. Westerns , all dieticians like Luke and many more learning from Hinduism way of Life and giving back our own knowledge . So unfortunate that others have to teach what they learnt from our ancestors. They should be thankful to Hinduism but their arrogance and Ego won't allow them to be grateful for the knowledge they have today that actually is a learning , a gift from Hinduism that has been acquired by them. I feel proud to be Hindu and the knowledge of Hindusim because of which people's lives are improving.

    I’m totally agree with you, everyone is different, one method doesn’t fit everyone, I used to fast 16/8 for 2 years, then I 20:06 started to eat breakfast at 9am since I suffered from autonomic nervous system dysfunction & insomnia 6 months ago, very little breakfast keeps me calmer & less tired, I intend to keep 3 meals a day to maximize my energy & keeping my anxiety at bay. Thank you so much for your wisdom and share your tips with public !

    Please make us understand the right way to break fast. What to be consumed and how to consume. Huge request to do that. Fast first- protein first- coffee- fiber too much confusion!

    I think the best I feel is when I fast after dinner until the next day dinner after sunset of course.
    No food no water.
    You just feel your body healing itself.
    I am just reluctant to do that in winter but I do have at least 12 hour fast every night.
    My health is great and I look a lot younger than I am.

    Thank you luke fasting was the best thing I did for my health. There is just one issue while doing fasting.
    Last year I did 6 days fasting initially ibfet great after 3-4 days I started getting small red boils on my skin on hands and back. It was itching quite a lot.
    Then my skin started peeling and new skin was there underneath most of my old skin got peeled off from back, hands, legs, chest and stomach.
    Just now I did 5 days fasting and this time I did not get red boils on hands but I could feel the heat and it was itching. I started eating after 5 days and then same thing like last year my skin is starting to peel off from my back and my hands. This time it's slower as compared to last year.
    Same thing happened to anyone? Why is this happening? Is it good or bad? Can I continue with fasting as I want to go for atleast 10 days of fasting.

    Hey Luke corrected my fasting aftr watching one of your vdos 🙃... There is one issue though during the eating window am not able to incorporate all the nutrients (or may b I dnt knw how to) as I dnt feel hungry aftr hvng one proper meal n one tea n one protein milk sort of thing 🤔.. I stop eating at 6.30pm..
    Could u pls mk a vdo on d basics of wt to eat so dt the body gets all micro n macro nutrition (for veg) 🙃..
    Does Dring ghee in hot water break the fast? Thnku so mch ❤

    I have IBS. Iam doing intermittent fasting from sunset to sunrise. I have my dinner by 6.30pm. Can I avoid having dinner as do not feel hungry. I have breakfast and lunch. I am 83 years old. Please let me know

    So one thing i didn't understand here is that, we have to maintain fixed time to eat to maintain our body rhythm. But then if we fast for 12 hrs one day and 16 hrs next day what happens to that? rhythm?

    I tried fasting 24 hrs but in the mid of a day I feel (not hungry but getting a feeling of hungry) and that makes little bit disturbed .how to deal with it?

      Try 12-hour fasting, do it for the time you really can. Push it slowly if you feel like to.

    Love it! But….. don’t lump all vegans together. Many of us do not eat mock meat. 🙄 I eat whole, plant foods, unprocessed except for my simple meal prep. I est a wider range of plants than I ever did when I consumed animal products.
    (I have not eaten any animal products for nearly 13 years and feel fantastic)
