You can string down barbed wire or a lot of other fortifications down in a line! Just hold down short and right click drag works for me all the time homie!
O cool I'll have to try it again I've never been able to get it work , would make my barware placement far less time consuming.
@@SirJellyBean when playing missions or just skerimish mode , when I get an engineer , the button to build a bunker seems to be greyed out :(
@@michaelhawkins7389 there is probably a certain tool that only makes bunkers and your engineer was not equipped with it.
that feature roots back to old Men of War titles before GoH, lol!
@@Enlisted_AxisMain I found out that it is only Finland who can build bunkers... and I don't have the finland missions as they are DLC
A good strat for the Heavy Engineers is to pair up an ammo crate with however many coastal guns you're going to make.
Once the gun is built the ammo crate can hide behind the emplacement to supply the gun and then use the crate holders to man the coastal gun.
It's worth the ammo price most of the time. Worst case scenario sell the crate and buy a new one instead of resupply.
After that, the engineers can then go do engineer stuff instead of becoming an AT crew. (I am unaware of any recent buffs or debuffs with different units manning the coastal gun)

4:45 you can actually fit the swedish 20mm inside these pillboxes which ive found useful in pvp

No the trenches dont snap together unfortunately .
But of a dumb question but where do you call the Heavy engineers from or rather what doctrine are they in?

Is there an HMG that fits in the pillbox? I’m desperately trying to get one in but it seems like I missed something. I dont want a poor soldier to stand still while hipfiring 50 rounds belts in it, he is very exposed and ineffective
Also, can we refill ammo trucks and boxes in this game? I’m trashing so many trucks in good condition because a single mortar is emptying them in a minute…
I don't think any of the HMG fit in the pillbox unfortunately and with ammo trucks they don't regenerate ammo but crates do slowly , best bit is to bring 3 or 4 ammo trucks
I managed to squeeze in about everything from a machine gun to a 155mm artillery gun (don't ask me how, yes it could still fire)
The DS-39 is a really good pick to put in it. (even better if you manage to capture a russian one with the gunshield)
Then I would guess either the single or double barreled 20mm autocannon. (the double barreled one absolutely is disgusting against infantry)
and lastly, if you are playing with a friend or playing conquest, it might be possible to get the 47mm AT gun, which is high enough to shoot out of it as well. It is available in the attack doctrine I think, and maybe also an option in late war, but in late war this AT pillbox idea doesn't really work that well because the tanks are too strong.
But in conquest they can prove to be very usefull.

i think i did that with sandbags in call to arms, does it work with sandbags in gates of hell?
How do I put sandbags around my tanks? I click on the option and nothing happens, and it still consumes the sandbag. Is it a bug?

No sandbags for tanks in the gane , you would have to use mods good Sir .

Yes all factions have fortifications but the Finnish get some extra ones also.
