Ipad 9th gen is the best ipad period. It does not use temporial dithering or pwm like the other ipads that can cause eye strain and headaches and its so much cheaper and apples number 1 selling ipad. there is just no need for the ipad pro as the software limits it. Anyone buying a ipad pro is just buying it to say they have a eye pad pro.

@@jmgarcia6002 it depends on what you really want to use.
If you are going to do so many powerpoints presentations and micosoft word , for research purpose, i think MacBooks have the wider range of usability.
If you are planning to use light weight research and just media consumption, iPad 9 is a perfect match and it can save money for one pair of Airpods.

Yeah but charging the Apple Pencil gen 1 is a pain. It’s way nicer to charge the Apple Pencil gen 2 on an air or pro by just snapping it onto the iPad. And you’re less likely to lose it

Logitech combo touch would be a better choice plus it has a nice pen holder too. As to the screen, it’s better to put a paper like screen protection if you are a student and use your pencil a lot. Good iPad otherwise

I use my iPad a lot but I hate the paperlike screen protector. the reasons are-
      1) I prefer the low friction of glass compared to the insane friction of paperlike protector.
      2) My colours on my screen are get really bad as it is a matte screen protector.
      3) The pencil tip gets worn off quickly due to friction.
      4) I just love the sound of writing on glass.
P.S. But at the end it is just a personal opinion.

I literally just got mine a couple of days ago. It is very handy for its portability for tasks, such as note taking, drawing, and video editing. Document like word has limited function and i would still use a pc for it. Going for 64 gb is far more than enough, maybe 128 gb if you use it to play some games maybe.

My review of iPad 9 as a student in 12th grade :
to be honest it was really easy to use I have had it more than 2 years and it haven’t cracked a bit, I have dropped 3 or 4 times and it never cracks , depending on ur case or accessory , this is probably designed for school use. I always like the iPad 10 since in 7th grade I wanted those cool iPad 10 iPad Pro, but I have come to realize they all do the same work most kids, want the design or how popular the trend is, the front camera ate I love it my pictures are perfect.

Honestly, I would say it depends. Personally if you are either a Mac or an iPhone user, than I think getting an iPad is just a better option since it’s a lot easier to transfer work to and from Apple devices under the same Apple ID account. (Starting a project on my iPhone and getting to finish it on the larger display on my iPad has come in handy MANY times) And while an iPad 9 is a great quality tablet, I’d say the best budget tablet on the market, if you prefer more customizability and work better on Android based devices, Samsung Tabs might be more suited for you… but personally I’m on Team iPad.

    • @DennisMathias
      @DennisMathias 2 ปีที่แล้ว

It's a make it work kind of thing. You have to think it through. Do you want it to be a Daily? I think it can be done if you're okay with some compromises..it can be even better.
Compromise one: no video editing with FCPX. Two, you have to carry an outboard keyboard. But there are advantages to this. You can get a portable keyboard you really like. AND being separate you can put the screen where you want. THEN, you can make a choice between a trackpad or mouse. And have an Apple pen because now of course you have a touch screen. I'm thinking daily PCs don't have touch screens. Not like the ipad.
And don't worry about storage. You can supplement it using an external drive or flash and the cloud. Consider using Google for Word Processing and spreadsheets, etc.
If you're any kind of an artist the ipad is just about the only place you can go IMHO.

Some of the reviews for this don't make sense. This th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA works as well as any power strip I've used. Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. It has a single toggle switch & the swivel jacks are useful as well. Plugged in next to Tripp Lite Isobar takes some of these reviews with a pinch of sumthin' - does what it says & functions properly.Had for about a month. Perfect no complaints will update if anything changes.

Don’t know why students need an iPad to take notes. A simple diary or notebook can also do. Why we have to be so much rely on electronics.

They can also keep tones of e textbooks . Very useful for those who always need reference e.g. law students / med stuff

It’s not about what you need it’s about convenience. Would you rather lug around 10-15 pounds of textbooks, notebooks, and other things or 5 pounds with all your notes and textbooks in one place? Also yeah you could get away with a notebook but why do that when you can have the convenience of having everything you need in one place or device? Don’t know why students who can use a device would rather use 5 notebooks and 5 textbooks separate and carry around 20 pounds worth of educational tools. I understand there’s people who don’t need an iPad and that’s perfectly fine. This video is about the iPad though not about notebooks.

I’ve always been a notebook taker bc I feel like I grasp the material more through community college. However now that I’m becoming a busier student in uni I would rather have one tablet with quick access to my materials, especially during open note exams, than going through my multiple notebooks 🥲 and less weight in my bag

Teacher Review on the iPad: Ditch it! The built-in distractions outweigh the merits it can provide a student in his studies.

Adhd straight A student Comp Science major here, and I love using the iPad. Some of us are in rigorous courses and we need something faster than handwriting notes, but not as mindless as typing notes. It can be a HUGELY effective tool

    • @trevinodude

My own psychology professor would say it depends on the discipline of the student. Some students can maximize their effectiveness on something like an iPad since they won’t need a bunch of different irl folders and notebooks for example… others would be very distracted. Again, it all depends on each and every individual student and their own abilities to stay on task. I know plenty of students who a switch to more old fashioned note taking methods actually hurt them in the long run since they could not add visual aids or other useful features into hand written notes.

Taking hand written notes is so hard. I’m in nursing and there is not enough time for that. I type everything on my phone and I think that an iPad would really help.

@@any2473 I just hope you won't get distracted with YT, FB, Instagram, Twitter, emails, games, etc. and the other built-in bloatware distractions in the iPad.
