In terms of performance, they are not very far from each other as both provide good performance. Obviously the iPad 10 got that same design as the Air ,and that being translated to slightly bigger screen with thinner bezels. In my opinion as a student, I would rather pick the 9 for being cheaper and spend the rest of my budget on an Apple Pencil.
Agree plus ipad 10 has same storage so there's literally no much difference. The only thing i found difference is in "c" charging in ipad 10 is awesome
I’m really impressed with my iPad 10th gen, I upgraded from a 1st gen iPad Pro to this one and got it 1/2 off with a free year of 5G cell service through my cellular phone company (Xfinity) and couldn’t be happier, this iPad is light years ahead of my old Pro, I just hope it last as long as my Pro model did, I also upgraded my wife’s Air 2 as well since it was such a awesome deal, we also have the usb-c pencils and they work great too, great video comparison, I don’t why so many tech reviewers bash the 10th gen it’s a great iPad

I’ve used both side by side, if you are a student and tight on budget go for iPad 9 it works fine(note making is similar on all the iPad) and if you can spend more go for iPad 10 as it has a bigger display and has USB C.
@darrenfisherman3838 a little bit of difference yeah, but as I said if you're tight on budget you can buy iPad 9th gen it also works just fine, and if budget is not an issue go for 10th gen as it looks better, display is better, processor is better and camera too.(most importantly : it has a type C)

Thank you, this was an excellent comparison between Apple's basic iPad 9th generation and their basic iPad 10th generation models. After last Tuesdays Apple event, price is now less of a difference between these two models. While, I still prefer an older iPad Air model over the basic iPad 10h generation would recommend any first time iPad user to buy the basic iPad 10th generation. However, for users like myself coming from older basic iPad models, I suggest staying with the basic iPad 9th generation. Why? Because, all of your old accessories will continue to work including your wired headphones, lighting powered keyboard, lighting to SD card reader, lighting to digital camera reader, lighting to USB "A" 2.0 Flash drive reader, and Apple 1st generation pencil (smile...smile).
bought iPad 9 a few , months before iPad 10 launch at cheap price no regrets, it's still does everything you expect it to only con is both speaker are at bottom.

They both can do what u want it for but my reason for getting the iPad 10 is the usb c which is standard in the world today, stereo sound in landscape mode, bigger screen with same size tablet and centered front camera But I only paid $350 for mine, getting it for $450 is definitely a ripoff so u decide

With iPad 10 you get some upgrades that I talked about in the video. Being more powerful you may not have those slowdowns that you have with iPad 9. But I still consider iPad 9 a good tablet
It’s clear he favors the 10 from the beginning. It’s not an objective review. iPad 9is by far the better value. The 10 was a disappointment. There are not 4 speakers just grills for them. Still only 2 speakers.
It is clear he favors the 10th gen, I’m not gonna lie to you I have the 9th gen, I recently upgraded to a 10th gen and I have got to say the iPad 10th gen is truly so much better.. the screen quality, the battery, the speeds, the camera, etc.. gaming is so much smoother, my iPad doesn’t overheat. Don’t get me wrong, the 9th gen is amazing, but the 10th gen is so much better.. not to mention yes there are only 2 speakers, but the other 2 grills are used for surround sound which makes a massive difference in streaming music. I def would say the 10th gen is better value by far, although the 9th gen is an amazing alternative if you cannot get the 10th gen.
I have had both (on the 10th gen rn and would go back to the 9 in a heartbeat) the squared bezzel is not comfortable in the hand, even with most cases. My Apple Pencil 1st gen doesn’t work while plugged into the iPad, nor does it charge without being connected to the wall by itself. Also by far the most annoying aspect I noticed as soon as I got it last year, is the Apple Pencil won’t directly connect to Bluetooth through iPad settings. Had to install a Bluetooth app (called LightBlue) and go through that app each time the pencil gets disconnected. If you want an iPad mainly for digital art I personally would highly recommend the 9.
There is always latency being wireless, therefore ipad 9 will be the last for me. There only thing I unhappy about is the speakers are not on each sides.

you can have an spen for the Samsung (and with the keyboard) for a cheaper price than getting an ipad and apple pen separately unless if you have the budget for it. Samsung has better storage too since you can upgrade with an SD card if you ever run out of memory; and as you have mentioned, animation might take a lot of memory but it depends on how often you'd animate or how large your files would be.

@@hakam_khalifa Same idea!! I’m leaning towards the iPad more than android tabs because I have an iPhone and value the Apple ecosystem(and I don’t know if it really matters). Both iPads offer great performance, but as you mentioned, I might need more storage in the future. The iPad 10 does have a USB-C port that supports external hard drives, but I’m not sure how practical that would be. I think I am more with 9 model
If it is for light gaming and school and work related go for iPad 9 with bigger storage. If you wanna game like heavy games I’m talking about pubg mobile etc then go for the iPad 10. Pro tip : do not update the ios version, use the stock version ios for as long as you can because updating the ios ruins the iPad performance and optimisation for gaming. It makes it laggy.

I use my iPad ten for streaming content and my iPad 9 for productivity and work I love them both but honestly you don't need to buy the iPad 10 .

Ipad 10 just got only two speakers on each side , not four though it got four speaker grills as aesthetics. Better if you could correct it .

one of the iPad 9's biggest advantage over iPad 10 -- no annoying camera bump, so it can be laid flat for writing/drawing.

On eBay a good used iPad 9th generation will be cheap between $150 to 200.
You don’t need to charge the Apple Pencil 1 in the lightning port. They make an adapter where you can charge it with a regular lightning charger.
So you have to pay more. Apple sheep.
The 10 is good if you have extra money to blow but the 9 is still good
