Thank you for choosing to make a difference! You have no idea how grateful I am for your videos!!! I watched your installation video 30 days ago and installed my microwave by myself. It hasn’t worked properly from day one. Accordingly, I just watched this video as a refresher and just removed it so I can exchange it for a new one. Thanks for helping me!!! You ROCK!!! 🚀💥
Absolutely! Glad to help. I also have some videos showing how to install a new microwave. Some of the older microwaves are not as straight forward. What’s the model number of the unit you’re uninstalling?
As a 39 yr old single mom and diy girl, I'm going to try this because why not. I'll have my boys there with me to help support and gain some knowledge. 🤞🏾 I hope this goes smoothly. 🙏🏾 Thank you for this video and for giving me a little encouragement that in can do this💪🏾
Thank you so much for this video. I unscrewed the cabinet screws from my old over the range microwave, but didn't know about the back ledge. After watching your video, I tipped the unit forward and it came out easily. Per your advice, I got someone else to help me lift it out.
Thanks for your great video. I'm going to remove a microwave/hood for a friend and reinstall just a range hood in it's place but getting the one out was the question and you answered that for me. Thanks again for taking your time to make this for us that haven't done it before.
Glad to help. You might have to add a power cord to the hood if the microwave was plugged in. Some hoods do come with a power cord attached but most don’t and get hard wired in. Good luck! 🍀 Thanks for watching!
@@TheAppliancePlug Thank you for the advice on the electrical part is easy for me. The old microwave/hood vent went out the top through the cabinet. I'm hoping it's kind of in a universal spot so I can hook up the vent pipe without a lot of hassles but that is very doable too. Thanks again. Lisa
Hey man really like your instructional video, helped me out a ton removing and installing new micro, at the point where I'm doing a lot of remodeling and replacing things in the house so I'll be going through all your videos for insight. You have a good way of explaining and instructing making it look not so intimidating. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming you have a fan down in Texas ... orale 🤙

Older Whirlpool, Frigidaire, and others often have a different mounting system to remove. My 2006 Frigidaire model did. The install of the new one will probably align with the steps in this video.

What if you have a microwave that has a baseboard attached to the bottom of the cabinet?
