We certainly do mate :) If you'd like to send us the turbo, we can modify and retro fit a speed sensor so it's ready to go. Feel free to drop us a DM or email us if you need any more information.
@@KiG1208 It can be either mate. The only reason we'd suggest sending the complete turbo is to avoid any accidental damage to the compressor wheel during removal.
you forgot too mention how easy one can blow the turbo without one..a simple boost leak/compensate scenario can spin the turbo too the moon! if you can spend thousand on a turbo you should insure it with one of these (actually, a cummins one will do 150USD)
I feel as though I’ve learnt something today! A friend of mines turbo had an overspeed- It was an expensive repair…
Glad you found it informative! 😊 It can certainly be expensive! 😅
Does this just wire up to ECU to feed information?
It certainly does, assuming the ECU can read the data.
How much are your Speed sensor kits bud?
£377.87+VAT for the sensor mate, plus £40+VAT to machine the cover and fit. Feel free to dm us if you need more info.
How does the ECU know the speed? Is there something on one of the blades or does the ECU need to know how many blades there are on the compressor?
You've got it, the ECU needs to be told the number of blades.
@@owendevelopments3054 Thank you, not one video anywhere explains this
@@mr34 Hey, you're welcome!

@@owendevelopments3054 does it have to be the entire turbo or can just be compressor cover?

I thought we covered the importance of having one, but you're right! Very easy to overspeed a turbo.
