Hi Les. I was inspired by your pan paintings, so I got a set of them and I am having trouble as I can see the texture of the paper under the pan pastels. No matter how many times I layer and rub it in with a sponge or my fingers, I can see the texture of the paper, especially in the sky. Is there any way I can post a picture of my painting so you can see it here? Are you using the smooth surface in this demo? I thought that before you had said to use the textured side of the paper. Any help you can give me is most appreciated. Thank you.
How do you get your pan pastels to adhere so well to your paper? I use the same paper and I just can't get the colors to lay down very well. What am I doing wrong?

Phthalo blue extra dark. 560.1 phthalo blue 560.5 Phthalo blue tint 560.8 turquoise580.5 Phthalo green tint 620.8 turquoise shade 580.3 ive used a little ultramarine shade and magenata shade, dark brown for the rocks and mixed a little hansa yellow 220.5 witht he turquoise, you would probably be ok with seascape set . I got one on amazon last year for £30 10 set too
