Rick, nothing better than spending a weekend with 2 good friends and detailing a car. It looks like you had a great time. You are a lucky guy to have good friends who share the same passion as you. The SQ5 looks amazing! I’m looking forward to the updates and to see how Ethos will handle the harsh Calgary winters. Stay Rad!👍
I am very fortunate with how my detailing hobby has progressed. The Ethos will definitely see some challenges in a few months. I'll be sure to post updates along the way. Thanks for watching, Mike.
Shaun and Alex properly tag teamed that Audi. Shaun was hitting it with the heavier cut and Alex was finishing. Great teamwork. Loved the camera angles. Really got us in there to see everything. Even had a cockapoo. Brilliant performance ❤
No kidding. Parts of the city got pummelled this week. Ironically, my buddy from Vancouver was visiting for a few days and his Mazda got obliterated. What are the chances?

Hi Rick 🖐 What an interesting video! You certainly are lucky to have such great friends spend hours driving from their homes to yours to help with this project. I enjoyed the behind the scenes shots, and the food make me hungry. How will you remove the bugs that are going to get on your new ceramic coating as you are not suppose to wash it for a week? You are bound to get lots of them on your upcoming trip. Thanks goes to your many sponsors that helped out with this endeavor. Looking forward to the first wash and how this ceramic coating stands the test of time. Cheers!!..😎
@@ratton5028 I did have to remove a few bugs a few days after this video was shot. I just used a pinch of Rinseless and focused on the glass. Just water and gentle agitation with a MF towel to get rid of the bugs on the front end paint. It has been almost two weeks since the coating went on, so this upcoming road trip will be a perfect opportunity to get the car nice and dirty and do a proper wash once we return.

Looks and sounds like you guys had a great time; you guys packed a lot into a weekend (all the food shots made me hungry, but those pies look fantastic)! The Audi looks great, as usual, mind if I ask how long it took with the three of you working on it? I look forward to updates on how the coating holds up, I’ve applied the basic Ethos Graphene coating on my F150 over a year ago now (this is the 2nd summer with this coating (I figure if I get two Saskatchewan winters out of it, that’s pretty good performance), and apart from having to unclog it once, it seems to be holding up quite well. Thanks for sharing! Keep up the great content!
Hi Rick, I'm Alessandro from Italy, I would have liked to be one of them to make your Queen SQ5 Audi shine, maybe one day who knows, you are truly unique as a person and I would love to meet you in person sooner, or later, I wanted to ask you, your Audi is already splendid, in the video they used a medium yellow Rupes wool pad to polish it, but it didn't seem to have any defects, can it still be used? Both Alex Dewar and Shaun Gullacher are both fantastic people, I think Alex has already noticed but I don't remember, while Shaun I have never seen, I follow Rag Company and certain producers including retailers like Carzilla, the latter unfortunately I can't get supplies from because he doesn't ship to Italy, but come on at least Rag Company and certain producers yes, you really made a unique video, when I saw some images with your friends, when you went to eat, I was reminded of "THE TRIP TO CANADA", which my company Michela and I did, I'm sure we'll come back, that memory will remain in my life forever and it made me a little emotional for how beautiful CANADA is, have you tried a graphene protector? What do you think? I have both the nano ibrid Rupes and the LHR21 polishers, what tool do you use to keep the doors open when you polish? Anyway Rick I congratulate you because you gave me a unique and fantastic video truly UNIQUE and MAGNIFICENT, now your Queen SQ5 is even more Splendid, a final result to die for WOW I can't take my eyes off it, watching the video in a while I'll see myself reflected in Italy too, truly excellent work, BRAVIIII THESE ARE ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS TO SHARE TOGETHER....
