We feel HONORED to have made the shelf in your Garage, Rick! I couldn’t imagine going through all of these and trying to limit what to keep/use, and donate🤯
Hey Rick, this video has made me realize that I too have too much product and will have to do a thorough cleanup. Late in the summer, two young lads came knocking at door asking to clean my two cars, I explained to them that only I clean the cars but I wanted to encourage them so I asked them to wait around and I gave them buckets, products, towels and advice. They were so appreciative that they came back to see me a few days later to tell me how much they loved the products and also to tell me how much money they made. It definitely made me smile that these young boys were putting themselves out there and applying great work ethics. I think that I am going to perform a good cleanup and place everything in a large bin for them in order to continue supporting them in my own way.
Enthusiastically indulged in every single second. Could make soooooo many comments… But this must’ve been quite the decision-making video to make indeed. Thank you Rick, really enjoyed it. ✨✨✨
I'm glad you derived some pleasure from this project. In the end, I kept 90% of what I had, but just taking stock will help me move forward with more variety in the products I chose to showcase. Again, I'm glad you enjoyed it and I always appreciate your support when new RAD videos drop!
Thanks Fred, but it should be mentioned that you guys are half the reason I found myself in this predicament with your amazing monthly Gloveboxes! Jokes aside, I look forward to adding a few more GBRX products to the arsenal.
You literally have EVERY brand in your garage. Ok...like 92% of every brand. This was great to watch and gave me some ideas for more products to buy that I don't need at all lol
It's funny because as many brands as I have, there's people that still insist I try this brand and that brand. The madness literally never stops! As long as I don't run completely out of space, and I know where everything is, I think I'll be ok. Thanks for watching. I hope it didn't completely monopolize your Sunday evening.
Rick you have so many cool products to use and enjoy! Perhaps you could host a coffee and cars and donate some products to the community. Hopefully your not having to much snow this winter! Thank you for the fun video!
This selection of excess products is earmarked for a buddy, but I like your idea. I do feel a bit funny giving away half-used products. Some have never been used, but most have. But, depending on the product maybe people would be happy to receive them. Anyway, it is something to consider come Spring when I have visitors again. No one comes by in the winter! 😞
Stayed till the end, excellent showcase of products. Wish my double garage was insulated and heated, winters in Toronto aren't as bad as the prairies but still hard to see my car be dirty all winter. Im using diy line and couldn't be happier with them
The DIY Detail line of products is perfect for the guy that wants to take care of his car with little to no complications and fuss. I do not take a warm and comfortable garage for granted. It makes each day so much easier on me, especially in the winter months. Thanks for watching. It's ridiculous but more products are incoming to the garage. 🤦♂️
I’ve been mixing up those two brands for years! TAC System did have a foaming shampoo that I had no success with and I actually threw it away after a few tries. Other than that, they have been solid. That said, some of their products are just plain confusing.
I have become spoiled and enjoy having the ability to communicate directly with the people behind the brands, and I have no idea if TAC System even has a team? You just never hear any buzz or news about them.
@@RADGarage Intriguing. There is a reason I sent the 32oz refill of the Leather Cream and not just the 8oz retail tube. I use it not only for vehicle interiors but also in my home. It leaves a luxurious satin finish and keeps the leather in my car, on my sofa, and recliners soft and supple. I've been using that product for well over a decade, long before I was an employee of DrB.
Wow you definitely have the collection of products, I’m using up a lot of my over the counter products that I have that are okay and trying new products, thanks for the video Rick 👍😁
Great video 👍. I don't feel so bad about all my products now lol. I am surprised that you don't have any AMMO products. Thank you for sharing your garage.
It is weird that I have never played with an AMMO product, and my only excuse is that I am a bit cheap. I added a few items to my cart years ago, but after currency exchange, shipping, taxes, customs charges and other fees, I just couldn't pull the trigger. I am patiently waiting for Larry to offer Canadian distribution but I don't get the sense that will happen any time soon. I have great respect for Larry and what he brings to the detailing industry. Maybe I can connect with him at some point???
I've watched this a couple times now and still its phenomenal! You've built a dream garage and you meet great people I honestly don't know how you have all this in a 2 car garage, to me your garage looks much larger Much respect
Thanks so much! It really is model of efficiency and organization. It is slightly larger than a builder-grade 2-car garage up here, but I have spent a lot of time, energy and expense maximizing the space. There's always more I could do, but there does come a point where you need to just maintain what you have built - and that is where I think I am. Again, thanks for the kind words.
Seeing all the beautiful sets together in your garage displayed is like a dream come true for me as well haha. I have to battle the internal struggle all the time to buy more detailing products because I am also excited about all the products from the way they all look together and their different user experiences. Since I only detail my own vehicle and family vehicles... I don't get to use my stuff too much. I'm pretty much simplified to DIY, Armour, P&S, and a few odds and ends from Ethos and others. I had gone through Adams stuff and constantly tempted to buy from them because they have great deals but have to remind myself I already have more than I need. Even after watching this video, I am reminded about products I want to order haha. I tell you what though, it is very satisfying in your videos that all the products have its place in the garage and not just all sprawled out wherever. You've got your bins and organizers and it very much scratches that itch of mine haha.
Sounds like we were cut from the same cloth, Scott. Having what I have so orderly stored and displayed is half the fun for me. I'm sure that statement makes pro detailers cringe, but as someone who approaches detailing from a hobbyist perspective, what is better and more satisfying than having a sweet arsenal of products on hand? Over the years, I have become more selective but when brands reach out and say, "Can we send you some stuff", it is sooo hard not to say "Yes". At the end of the day, I like how my products make me feel and when I need a particular product, it is nice to know I have something that will scratch that itch!
It's awesome that you can try different lines, i'm limited on money and it is just me and my 15 year old car, so i had to chose a line i thought would work for me and my car, that wasn't too complicated and it would get all i needed done to keep my car looking good for hopefully many more years. Thanks for showing me all your product lines!🥰
I loved this video Rick !! Your garage is amazing !! I just did a car care product reorganization myself about 2 months ago and it feels good mentally. I can see that it is a big weight off your shoulders getting your products in order and for me it was really weighing on me and now that it is done it is an amazing feeling. I believe an organized garage is an effecient garage. All the best in 2024 and please keep these amazing videos coming.
I couldn't agree more. Organization is definitely the key to having a garage that works efficiently. I'll do my best this year to keep pumping out videos. Take care and stay RAD!
Hi Rick 🖐 Wow!! What a gigantic undertaking! I am surprised that you completed it in just 2 days. I have a similar problem, but not on your scale, and you have motivated me to attempt and organize my too many products. It seems that I am always chasing the latest just to see if it is better than the others ones. I wish that I lived closer to you so I could get some personal help with my problem!! Thanks for taking the time to share with us your ideas! Cheers!!…. 😎
Thanks for watching. My plan was to bring viewers into the actual decision-making process, but it took hours to widdle things down, and in the end, I didn't really remove all that much. But, it was enough to free up some space and that should allow me to have a better view of what I actually have. I find myself "chasing" products too, which is a real dopamine rush, but things can become very cluttered very quickly that way. Good luck, and I'm glad you have been inspired to tackle your collection.
Have definitely been trying to use up products that have been on the shelf a while instead just buying new stuff all the time. My shelves and cabinets are no where near as packed as yours, but it does get a little overwhelming at times. I love trying products but there’s something to be said about finding ones you really love and sticking to them for most of your normal washes, I find it makes trying new ones every once in a while more exciting.
Valid points, for sure! I am in that unique position where companies are generously sending me packages so that makes it hard to stay sensible and reasonable! I still get excited when a new line or product lands on my doorstep and the dopamine rush I get when I have to figure out where to store it, well, let's just say it hits me big time!
Radtastic video, rick.. Love the whole lineup aspect It's gotta be a dream come true to be recognized by brands and to receive their products. Keep it rad and keep them videos coming
Wow such a good video. So many products I've never heard of and was interesting to learn about them all. Watched the entire video. I recently got Labocosmetica's 3pH system for our coated car. Would love to see it featured on your channel.
I watched a video from Pan this morning who was reviewing the Armour line. I enjoy learning about new products, but as I posted to his channel, my arsenal of detailing products are from manufacturers that have consistently produced quality products at fair market value. It is so hard to leave your favourite product to try something “new”. Also, the mix of specific product I use is varied bc I have learned that no one manufacturer makes a full line of home runs (it’s expensive too!🤑🤑🤑) great video and yes there are some products I have seen in your video I plan on trying. Especially the DIY line. Great video Rick. Winter has turned up here on the Rock with a vengeance and this took my mind away from that. Till the next one.
I relate to everything you are saying, Wayne. Including the weather. We got walloped last night with a foot of snow. I still enjoy shovelling snow thankfully. Take care my friend.
Thanks Mike. Not the world’s most important decisions, but decisions nonetheless. I enjoyed your round table discussion with the fellas last week. I wish you continued success in all you do. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
What an amazing amount of products imagine how long you could work with that without replenishing any or buying new stuff. Great Work Rick, and a late happy new year to you and your family
I enjoy having so many products, but there does come a point where it needs to aligned in such a way that everything gets used once in a while. Happy new year to you, too!
@@RADGarage Wich bottle or brand representation is your favorite? I'm guessing yours is gyeon, I personally love the design of the NV products they look so clean
I honestly can NOT answer that question. Gyeon is definitely a front runner given I have so much experience with that brand and I have built a comprehensive collection of it, but brands like KCX, DIY Detail, NV, Armour, Dr. Beasley's all contribute majorly to my enjoyment of my hobby. Basically, I like everything that is in my garage and picking a favourite is virtually impossible. All that said, the NV line is superb. I need to replenish my Purge and Snow+.
Great video Rick and thanks for sharing all of you products and doing your best to explain each and every one of them. I absolutely love the DIY Detail lineup and the Armour Detail Supply lineup. The Armour Detail Supply PRO Quartz coating is fantastic! Just a quick note about the Cerakote Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant you have. Those are not related to their controversial new ceramic coating. In my opinion, the ones you have are really good. I highly suggest giving them a try. Thanks again!
Thanks for the information about those Cerakote coatings, Daniel. I wasn't quite sure where they fit in with the timeline. I have always had amazing results with their trim coatings so it doesn't surprise me to hear you had good success with the Rapid Paint Sealant. Between the DIY Detail and Armour Detail Supply lines, you have all your bases covered. Just a shameless plug here, but I have discount codes for both those companies in the description! 🤘
Great vid! I have been trying to use what I have for a while and not buy new stuff. It is easy to stack a lot of products. You know I love your garage, you should be proud of what you have created. One product I think you should have tried out before you give it away is the TAC systems Shinee Wax. Stunning gloss. I also have used Moonlight as a coating for almoust everything around the car, plastic, door jambs etc. It is a way for me to finish off if I have ceramic coated the paint of a car. Stjärnagloss is a brand using Swedish words on their products and I would love to visit you in your garage and teach the teacher how to pronounce them 🙂 Strangly enough I rearly see them here in Sweden. You have a lot of brands I haven´t even seen for sale here in Europe. I am almoust overwhelmed with all the brands out there. I remember for a few years ago you gave away some products to a young guy in your city.
Hi Rick, I'm Alessandro, congratulations on your garage, I saw the latest video you made, I finally had time to see it, I would go crazy with all those fantastic brands, I would play with them every time I have to wash the car, for me you are number 1 Rick , soon I will finally try to post the long-awaited video even if an author has not responded to my email, if I then see that there are problems I will remove it and modify it. A big hug, I'll wait for your opinion of the video I'll put up bye Rick😉👍🤙
Having the amount of products I have to play with is a genuine blessing. This channel has allowed me to make so many awesome friendships with people in the industry.
Great Video Rick! I have the same issues 😅. My strategy was to use up everything I have before I buy anything else but that never seems to happen😂. I think I will narrow it down to my “go to products” and just stick with those in future. I use mainly P&S and Ammo products.
Having a few preferred brands is the best way to keep your garage from becoming inundated. That said, trying new products from brands is what keeps the hobby interesting for me so doing a thorough reorganization every year or so seems to be my way of coping. Thanks for tuning in on Sunday morning!
@@RADGarage I don't think I've ever seen a video with this many different products! It's kinda cool to see though! Definitely gives you the opportunity to see what works best. Lol
I love love Stjrnagloss! I have mostly all from the line, my favorites are Matta, Glatt and Gummi! Matta smells amazing and if you mix it with Sno, like Levi from the rag company says, you get "Coconut Earth" smell, and he is right!
I love it too. I “need” to expand my collection since I have used up a lot of the product I initially received through TOC Supplies. I’ll try the mixing trick you mentioned.
ricky hello, your videos are great as always, well done, I always watch with pleasure, please tell me which of these brands is the best, they are all great but which is the best, please tell me, thank you
That is an impossible question to answer, my friend. I am a fan of each and every brand represented in my garage. I know that sounds like a lame answer, but it really is true. Which brand plays the most integral role in my garage currently? I would have to say Gyeon, but I can't say they are the best because other brands are equal to the challenge. Let me ask you, of all the brands represented in my garage, which one is your favourite?
You have quite a good stock of detail products. Anything that you would like to share would look nice on my amateur detail geek shelf. Just saying. Nice video. 🇨🇦👍👍
I wish I had the means to share my extras with others. The bulk of what I have edited will be going to a friend that lives a few hours away. He and I came to know each other the first time I let a bulk of products go.
Wow!! When my garage grows up it wants to be just like yours!! Jk! I have so many questions!! So sorry in advance!! -What’s on the shelves under all the products!! How do you choose what product to use!! I use a tonne of Gyeon products as well. I’ve just ordered a few ADS products recently as well! I’d love to pic your brain on what and where to branch off too! Recently found your channel, so going through all your videos!! Awesome!!
I have industrial carpet taped to the top of all my work surfaces. This helps keep the place neat and tidy. I don't have any real methodology when choosing what products to use. I just let my instincts take over and sometimes I try things I have used a lot and sometimes I am in the mood to try something less-used. I do have a lot of options! I am glad you found my channel and you are enjoying my content. I'm not an expert, just someone who enjoys it and enjoys sharing.
Hey Rick, I love the video, and like you, I love the look of some brands and enjoy opening my garage to see it organised and seeing some good-looking brands in there. But heres a question for you: What brand have you seen in the UK or Europe? Do you like the look of that you wish it was available in Canada? Richard
Richard, I have enough of a challenge keeping up with brands here in North America! That said, I have heard some good things about Labocosmetica and I did a quick scan of their website. I would by lying if I said I wasn't intrigued.
@RADGarage haha I know what you mean, I love the look of the new labocosmetica bottles, and it's a brand that I'm keen to try out as well, and they are getting some positive reviews too. They would look good on any shelf👍
I'm personally geeking out on Soft99 stuff, you got me into Gyeon . Can't wait for the winter to be gone so i can start washing the car properly again.
@RADGarage for me, it's the fusso coat, and especially the Japanese/old version. Here in Europe, we have a more environmentally friendly one, and that doesn't last as long. This spring, i might test their ceramic coating. The Glaco windshield coating is superb. I usually use their luxory gloss detailing spray to topp off the gloss in-between washes or at cars and coffe.
Hi Rick, I'm Alessandro from Italy, I would like to ask you for your advice, I'll soon have another new Golf 8 R, I would like to give it a good wash when it gets home and I was thinking of giving it a good polish to remove the orange peel to make it shinier. I have both the Rupes Nano hybrid and I think the RUPES LHR15 ES with each one supplied with its own pads. In your opinion, is it enough to use Yellow Buffer with its fine Yellow nail polish? What if I use Adam's Pad One Step with Adam's One Step Polish? What is best to do? surely the machine comes with micro swirl, what do you recommend me to do? Thanks Rick....😉👍🤙
Hi Alessandro. Removal of orange peel is a bit more involved than correction or polishing the paint. You will need to use fine grit sandpaper and it is something that I would like to learn in the future, but it is not something I would recommend for a DIY'er. If you just want to remove any minor imperfections and increase the glossy reflection of your paint, the Rupes system of polishes with the yellow foam pad is a terrific way to go about doing that. I have also had great results in the past with the one-step pad and polish system by Adam's. They would both get the job done for you. Congrats on the new Golf R. Those are special cars. I bet it is a riot to drive on those curvy Italian alpine roads!
@@RADGarage Hi Rick, I'm Alessandro, I was very pleased that you answered me, so regarding removing imperfections and increasing the shiny reflection, Rupes yellow pad with its yellow polishing system Rupes would be very good, thank you very much for the advice, the Golf R8 is something unique and I have noticed it over time for its improvements in performace since I had the 7 series 10 years ago, then moving on to the restailing series, I change it every 3 years maintain a good value and it doesn' t depreciate too much I would have really liked the Audi RS3 but it costs me a lot more, maybe If I can start very well doing this second Car Detailing job I hope to get it. I really enjoy it when we go to the mountains in the Trentino Alto Adige area and every day I happen to be in a different place and going towards Austria I don't take the motorway but 2 beautiful winding passes in the middle of the mountains, in those areas the roads are beautiful However, there are other areas of Italy where asphalt roads are unfortunately very bad and you have to be very careful. Thanks Rick, if I can, I'll post the video this evening, hoping that some tracks don't have copyright, at most I'll remove it and change the music tracks, thanks so much Rick, say hello to Canada and your family. Have a good continuation.😉👍🤙
I have sold some excess product over the years, but the bulk of my current inventory was generously sponsored by various brands and retailers, so selling it just doesn't work in this case. Plus, I know my buddy BuckyVW will put it all through its proper paces!
I have their APC called Blitz .and it’s a Swiss Army knife. It has multiple uses. I bought my 32oz bottle off of Amazon 👍. I’ll buy all of your TAC SYSTEM products you don’t want👍
Yes, I was able to spend some quality time chatting with Brian. He is such a nice guy and hard worker. There's a lot a person can learn from him. I have opted to hold on to a few TAC System products, but if I don't find occasion to utilize them in the next year, then I have to cut the cord! I do need to stock up on Mystic Bubble soon. I am running dangerously low and I love that soap.
@@RADGarage Well good on you Rick. Brian did a video on Moonlight about 3 years ago. He also did one on Shinee Wax and One Step Master so I know you’ll be pleased with your results. I’m happy you’ll keeping the TAC SYSTEM 🫡🤗🤗

O Canadá é definitivamente um daqueles países que realmente foi afetado pelo bug do detalhamento. Tenho muita sorte de ter tantas marcas incríveis disponíveis para mim.
Hey rick why dont you sell these products to the highest bidder you decide what to do with the cash im from the uk id love to try and win this im sure others would too i get you thoughts on too much products you dont use products as fast as your mind thinks you will when i buy a product its usually a gallon i buy i like value for money i dont really use RTU products
I couldn’t take money for used product that I mostly received free. As an obsessed hobbyist with some company connections, I am in a unique position because I have more opportunities to try new things than I will ever possibly use! My approach to products would make little sense to most people but what can I say? It’s fun and I’m fortunate.

What is your line of choice?
I loved this video Rick !! Your garage is amazing !! I just did a car care product reorganization myself about 2 months ago and it feels good mentally. I can see that it is a big weight off your shoulders getting your products in order and for me it was really weighing on me and now that it is done it is an amazing feeling. I believe an organized garage is an effecient garage. All the best in 2024 and please keep these amazing videos coming.
I couldn't agree more. Organization is definitely the key to having a garage that works efficiently. I'll do my best this year to keep pumping out videos. Take care and stay RAD!
Hi Rick 🖐
Wow!!
Love the whole lineup aspect
It's gotta be a dream come true to be recognized by brands and to receive their products.
Keep it rad and keep them videos coming
Thanks Dan. I certainly feel fortunate that my hobby has evolved to this point. Thanks for being a part of it. 😅
Wow such a good video. So many products I've never heard of and was interesting to learn about them all. Watched the entire video. I recently got Labocosmetica's 3pH system for our coated car. Would love to see it featured on your channel.
I’ll be welcoming the line up of Labo products soon so stay close to your computer!
@@RADGarage So far I've use Primus 2.0 and Nero. Both have been stellar.
I'm excited!
You are correct the new version that you have of unlabeled Gsf was a pre production. Just a slight variation of the original.
Thanks buddy. Those KCX products all displayed nicely on my top shelf are a real show stopper, don't you think?
Rick, re: "leftover coatings"
I use any leftover coating I have for when I do headlight restorations.
That's a brilliant idea. Thanks!
I might also use them around the house for various surfaces that could use a little protection. Granite? Tiles?
Your set up is rad-tastic!!! #goals
Some will call me crazy, but I like it! Thanks for the nice message.
Great video. Lots of decisions to make on what to keep or not.
@@RADGarage Thanks Rick, I will definitely utilize the discount codes! Happy New Year!!
🙏
I have no doubt that Shinee Wax and Moonlight are fine products, I just don't seem to ever have the opportunity to use them. I will think about it.
Happy New Year, RAD! Hope you're doing well!
Thanks Neal. 2023 was a great year garage-wise. I hope to build on the momentum in '24. Take care, my friend.
crazy amount of product
You only live once!
What an awesome video.not sure what I did to get a special shoutout but boy, it is sure appreciated. Stay RAD
I have two packages ready for you.
Your life is detailed 💪
That’s one way of saying it. 🤘
@@RADGarage It would be simple to use one line up of products. Some kind of NIKE of industry. Like 🍏 use to say > keep is simple!
I tried that with Adam's a few years back. My desire to "have it all" ruined it.
How about you build a HQ line of proper 5 products.
Rhadoo essential’$
Keep up the good work!
I often daydream about what a RAD Garage line of products would be and look like. #futuregoals
Nice product 👌😎
Thanks. Do you have a favourite brand?
@@RADGarage
The products of the Italian brand "Mafra" are widely available in the Algerian market and are of good quality
I think I have seen those. It would be great to try a few here in Canada.
Why so much of this? JUST KIDDING, JUST KIDDING! 😆 Great video!
Haha! You had me going there for a sec!
Actually, “Why so much of this” would be a perfect title for the video! 🤔
@@RADGarage I don't think I've ever seen a video with this many different products! It's kinda cool to see though! Definitely gives you the opportunity to see what works best. Lol
@@shojus You’ll never hear me complain!
@@RADGarage The rag company has a video of Levi and Anthony using the coconut earth on i believe Dane's Jag?
I'll check it out.
ricky hello, your videos are great as always, well done, I always watch with pleasure, please tell me which of these brands is the best, they are all great but which is the best, please tell me, thank you
That is an impossible question to answer, my friend.
Wow, what a great problem to have! I'm the opposite at this point. I have a MASSIVE shop, but not enough product to fill it.
We should team up.
@@RADGarage The distance thing could be a problem :) HAHAHA!
This is true.
I'm hoping there's a way I can get my hands on it.
@RADGarage I'm sure someone will stock them soon. I'm just waiting for all the new bottles to come out, and the older bottles to be replaced.
Oh, have they revamped the look of the line?
I’m ver satisfied with Chem Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss. 1oz per 5 gallon bucket. Cleans withGloss enhancers 👍
It's been one of my favourites for years.
I'm personally geeking out on Soft99 stuff, you got me into Gyeon . Can't wait for the winter to be gone so i can start washing the car properly again.
I have never delved into the world of Soft99. What is it you like about the line? Gyeon definitely offers a solid variety of quality products.
Sounds awesome.
If you like shelf appeal. Labocosmetica is hard to beat IMO.
I want it all.
@@RADGarage haha
I was just checking out their website and it had me quite intrigued. I wonder how a Canadian such as myself could get his hands on some?
@@RADGarage
I can relate.. my wife has the master bedroom closet for her stuff... and you can't walk into it!
Does she ever take stock and thin things out?
@@RADGarage yes... but she buys more stuff! 😜
I like her.
Rick doesn't have a car detailing product problem, he's got a "not enough cars and time to go through all the products" problem lol
Truer words have never been spoken. Plus, convincing people to invest in a comprehensive detail during our winters is very difficult.
I’ve done a clear out twice and I usually just end up selling off detailing kits on marketplace to help me recoup some money back
I have sold some excess product over the years, but the bulk of my current inventory was generously sponsored by various brands and retailers, so selling it just doesn't work in this case. Plus, I know my buddy BuckyVW will put it all through its proper paces!
