I am here for the comparison. I find it harder to carry 2 phones with the same form factor. Currently I am carrying the Razr 40 ultra and the Pixel Fold and it is a lovely world that way. Motorola has always let you use all the apps on the front so they have more experience in that department and thats always going to be a win for me. I loved my razr 2022 and this was a nice upgrade. Great video
Thanks GG for stopping by..I still need to try out that Pixel Fold...in have been sleeping on the Flip devices for a while now but I really enjoy them now
I think the Razr 40 Ultra/plus is a nod to the three forms of communication devices Motorola sold in the mid nineties the Motorola Talkabout I have in mind when the Razr 40 Ultra/Plus is in it's folded position, the original Razr mobile phone there is a setting where you can have to old Razr style layout when you open the Razr 40 Ultra/Plus and finally the smartphone..
I would like to say something about the size of the display here yes when you are operating the motorola one it looks big because they have covered the bottom but the usability of the display size has been done in a more better way by samsung because in motorola the area parallel to the camera there are function keys and etc the display when you open TH-cam or Google or anything and compare it to the same apps in Samsung the display will look more bigger in Samsung because they have used the space very well. Motorola if you look at the whole display available in the home screen has been trimmed from the top but then the actual display like when using Google or TH-cam you will notice that has been trimmed from the bottom means their is a black bar in the bottom as well between the level of cameras and the display size but samsung the display you see in the home screen has been used fully and their is no further cutting of display size when playing TH-cam or Google so it looks bigger in Samsung only. It actually feels like a gimmick to give display in the bottom of the motorola as their is no use of it because it gets hindered anyway they should have given the display on the top.
Flip 5 overall is the better device. I had the razor plus for 2 weeks when u play games it lags. I know have the flip 5 it runs a lot better no lag and has a better hinge and the software is a lot better and have better case options
A good video but when comparing screens, the same source or picture should be used. Looking at both screens, we don't know if both phones are set up the same or at least close. A sound comparison would be good to do as well, though I suspect they are both pretty good. All in all, I think you got it right when it comes to the cameras. I don't like so much processing that the Samsung does but you can adjust it. As far as how the Razr feels, I am very happy with the Razr. I'm getting great battery as well. I use the front screen 90% of the time.
I have both! Here are some key factors. The Flip 5 has better speakers, camera, faster processor, and yes this matters cause my Razr+ throttles a lot when having multiple apps open or playing games. The Razr+ is a fun device but for being the same price you can't beat the flip 5 build quality. I hope motorola continues to improve the razr+ , especially the speakers cause they are terrible, even if you fine tune them with dolby atmos.
Razrs front screen is way better than the Samsung and thats what I'm looking for on a folding phone. When open they are similar and Samsung has a bigger noticeable fold. As a regular phone I'd pick Samsung, but not foldable.
Everything about this review was great but I'm going to have to disagree with you on the camera.. the Motorola Razr plus AKA Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has a macro lense camera ; which is very important. Samsung stop supporting this feature on all device after the galaxy s22 ultra
Not so vibrant... why wold you want that? i changed the color from vibrant to natural in the first 30 seconds after finishing the initial setup of my Razr+. I think acurate natural colors are better than cartoony mega saturated water paints
Samsung's screen is usually always set to vivid which is going to make colors pop more if you switch the setting for Samsung screen and set it down to normal instead of vivid you can't see any difference between the pictures on the razor and on the Samsung

They are a match made in heaven! I want a razr/flip5 for quick access (front screen), & the fold5 for a monitor/video.
@@briangrussing9327 yeah a small flip for calls etc and a large fold workhorse is the way to do it.

The Razr 40 Ultra is the proper flip phone for sure.

I have both ATM and trying to decide which to send back
@@keithburns5082 keep them both. just kidding- that is a tough decision for sure
Both phones are good in their own way but if i had to make a choice i would definitely go with the flip 5 no doubt

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is d best, i am happy that i bought it over Z Flip..

Razr for the win! I just returned my Flip 5. Samsungs UI is too clunky, the crease is a cavern, and One UI still stinks.

Flip 5 last longer better build better looking get the samsung exclusive colours matte back awesome
