I actually think these cars aged well. They were not sporty at all, but they were super comfortable, roomy, and very easy to live with.

How important was this 2006 Toyota Camry LE review? After watching Cameron's Review it was THE reason
I decided to buy a pre-owned, earlier 2006 year Camry. This Camry is everything that was stated, and more.
This car is so well built that after 11 years of being pre-owned , it still drives as if new. Steering is crisp and tight.
Acceleration is quick, and the ride is solid, no annoying rattles or loose fittings. Interior appointments are smart.
Best of all, the engine power is more than adequate, its 2.4L 155HP delivers surprisingly good gas mileage
(approx 28-30MPG) for a Midsize 4Dr Sedan. Keep up the great Automobile reviews!
Thank you Cameron....Like they say, Toyota Camry- Oh, What a Feeling!

We had one. It could burn rubber, accelerate to 190 km/h, and was more reliable that the sun. All it needed was an oil change and an alignment every once in a while. It lasted to 341,000 km, then we sold it. Did not have any major mechanical issues. Like Cameron said; the transmission was _so smooth_ and it was so reliable.

Just bought one of these after crossing off pages and pages of other options.. even picked this over an 09 Camry, didn't have ac and didn't run nearly as smooth as the 06. Still a new purchase but so far so good. Insanely smooth, and like you pointed out, the 4 cyl works so well with the 5 speed auto transmission that you aren't left feeling like you need more. Plenty of power without having to sacrifice gas mileage. Nothing quite like the freedom of knowing you can just hop in and go as far as you need to, for as long as you need to. T.C. you've done it again!

I have this car, it's an L E version. I think that it's about time for some rims. I don't know if I want to put some 17s, 18's, or 20's on my car but I know that they will look really nice. I' am also getting ready to replace the headlights and the taillights to a more stylish look. These vehicles really do look nice once they get a good paint job done to it, and then get some nice rims , headlights and taillights put on the car. It feels incredible to give it a custom look, with hip hop styles.

I have an '06 LE with around 26k miles on it, and it's absolutely the smoothest and most comfortable modern car I've been in. The 2.4 still packs a ton of power, easily zips around any problem drivers on the fly. There is a bit of that Toyota delay in higher gears, but really packs a punch in the early ones. Our '13 Prius is the top trim but still doesn't compare in comfort. It's the perfect car to take care of.

If I had to choose between 2006 or 2007 Toyota Camry, I’d definitely go with the 2006 due to how the 2007 Camry came out with burning oil problem with the 2.4L. For 6th gen I’d say 2010-2011 are a lot better with the 2.5L!

My camry is an 06 le with 25,000 miles and change. I had some things replaced. I got it from a relative. New battery, and tires, and new wiper blades. Fluids of course I changed, and checked. It needed a rack and pinion, and new sway bars which are new as well. Steering is very nice now. Mechanic found stain on the underside. I was wondering why steering was shaky. So 1800 bucks for rack and pinion. It's not as comfortable as a volvo 80, but drives nicely. I like the toyota's suspension.

Plus I don't think he mentioned it but the driver's seat is power adjustable so you can move it back and forward and you can also move it up and down at an angle to get into a comfortable position. I actually have the 2005 LE but it should be the same, love the ride comfort, did a 300 plus mile road trip this summer and felt great, hoping to do a longer one next year just go give her some highway miles as she just loves going down the highway at 80 mph.

These cars are the best cars ever made nothing fancy But a very reliable car and great on gas planing to get another one I have a Toyota Corolla 2,06 and I love it is 2,021 now but I rather have something reliable and great on gas then fancy
Everyone love my Corolla I keep it like new but my Corolla have 159 mileage on it and planing to get the Camry now with 111 mileage on it can’t wait is going to cost at the dealership a pretty good penny they talking about 7,500 and try mines… now with this pandemic going on everything went sky high even the gas is like 5 dollars a gallon crazy 😜 but I love Toyota’s those are best ever 🥰😬

      The 2AZ-FE (2.4L 4cyl) uses a timing chain. The 3.0L V6 (1mz-Fe) & 3.3L V6 (3mz-fe) both use a timing belt.
