Dude trying to find a Waluigi and Bowser Jr figure have been brutal. They’re some of the few characters I’m missing. eBay has not been kind to me with this one
Yeah they're SO hard to find. Waluigi has only ever appeared in the Mystery Figure Series 4 and 11, and Bowser Jr has only appeared in the Mystery Figure Series 4 and 9. It took me 2 years to find Bowser Jr. and almost 6 years to find Waluigi with eBay though, they'll definitely have it for a good price if you're patient enough
Sick vid! I've lurked around in this community a little bit off and on for awhile, and learning that there are 'Generations' of Knex youtubers is pretty cool. I'd honestly love to become a part of the community, even if it isn't that big nowadays, cause it's just really cool lmao. Maybe i'll be apart of gen 3, who knows. :)
So I only just got around to watching this. And it’s really funny seeing all this from my perspective. Most of my comments on my old videos are not me, but my dad. I was 10 when I started my channel so my dad ran all of that, and even when I took over editing I never bothered to mess with comments until Knex rainbow road Wii, so I had very little knowledge about anything happening. The funny thing is, I actually agree with certain parts of Super Toads take. My tracks are less KNEX track’s but instead miniature track sets that use Knex as a core element. That’s my style, as my videos have always been more looks than function. And believe it or not I still get comments accusing me of not knowing what Knex is. (Likely from the Knex roller coaster community) Also “Carbonated Waters” is a track based on Sparkling Waters from NSMBU (which I still plan on doing) It’ll be interesting to see how things continue to evolve!
Yeah I remember you mentioning your dad ran the comments section and stuff Yeah everyone’s got their preferences, while I like focusing on technicality, your tracks got that cinematic imaginative feel, like I think you said something about studying like video editing in college and it shows Glad to hear Carbonated Waters made it out of the scrap pile, looking forward to it (yeah this video was released before info about your comeback so that part is a little outdated now lol)

I think Cinematically and I'm a Story Teller at Heart, so anything I do is bound to be set up in a story format of some regard. It's funny that I announced my return shortly after this video came out. I was ready to call it quits for good until my dad came along, and said he'd be down to do stuff again. Dread it, Run from it, Destiny calls me back to K'nex Mario Kart

Man, It has been a very long time since the last time I played with Mario knex, I remember seeing a Mario 3d land boo house set as a prize at chuck e cheese in 2013, I used to really want the bowser's castle set
I hate to tell you, but Kohls did not exclusively sell Mario vs. Chain Chomp. I vividly remember seeing it at Target multiple times as a child. It does suck my sources are trust me bro, but I distinctly remember buying the set at Target
@@SquirrelMario yeah he released a trailer for it a while ago but last time i checked he took it down but in a comment in Mario Kart Animation 4 he replied to someone around a month ago saying he was almost done filming
@@NotK41 I wouldn't consider making whole tracks though, just building tips on how to make it work better. I do know that since they take tons of AAA batteries, you should rely on rechargeable batteries instead.
I mean, I would make tracks, but it would be tough to get my room clean when I have to clean it. It’s pretty tedious storing everything, especially the track pieces.
I did not know there was enough Mario KNEX content to make an iceberg but sure I have nothing better to do Also I dont know why this is annoying me but it is 52:18 the Penguin does have arms theyre just more attached and less noticeable in the prototype (either that or Im seeing that but I think it's the former) I had a few KNEX sets (only the karts and bikes none of the levels) although I dont have any of them anymore
The Koopa's and other lego mario characters look ok as built out non-minifigures but Mario and Luigi are complete garbage, making them these giant awkward refrigerators was a terrible idea. No idea why they didn't just go with minifigures or at least make some minifigure sets you have to go custom to get any. All these K'nex ones are better than lego.
Yeah I'm not the biggest fan of Lego Mario's design, it's too blocky; and not even like Minecraft blocky, it's just weird... K'nex all the way lol I will say though the airship, Wiggler, the Snowman/Fliprus, Ninjis, and some of the items/enemies that appear in the mystery figure bags look pretty good
