If he felt like this, and he told me about it… my heart has always been open. It never closed. I can guarantee you if you just go up to her and have a chill casual convo as if none of that had ever happened, you can reset the whole situation. She will prob be like what? But if she does like you she will be happy about it. You can always explain later when things are more fully realised. However, she and I have discussed our types plenty of times and I’m the virtual opposite of hers - she wants someone taller than her so at least 6ft, whilst I’m only 5’ 4” (I’m a lot shorter than her). But it’s cool, as I say her friendship is enough for me, and it’s helped me become confident so hopefully that’ll help me attract someone else - for whom my height isn’t an issue.

It reminds me when I started to falling in love with an random guy from my school. When I say random, it's actually random because I only would see him in the end of the day, but he, he is the definition of something I don't know how to describe. Idk why but suddenly I started seeing him frequently, twice in a week, 4 times, and some times every day I would see him. He didn't know about my existence for sure, but just to see him I would instantly get genuinely happy, for the first time in my entire life I wasn't desperate to talk or say something to him, I was happy to know a guy like him exist. He is calm, very calm, and shy but he shares an sensation of peace, serenity and an amazing aura. suddenly I started to love everything about him. I've known people like that and in my experience, our relationship (friendship and dating) has always ended on a sour note. Now I dont know you at all nor do you know me. But my advice to you as someone who has been there would be to avoid having a relationship with them. I've practically cut off a friendship with someone BC of that level of toxic behavior. I thought I could change that friends behavior over time but nothing changed over the 2 years I have known them, and their behavior has harmed my mental health as a result. However, it is possible that the person you're talking about is unaware of her actions. Who knows. What I'm getting at is, don't sacrifice your mental health for them. Your mental health comes first over anyone. If they have a problem with that then that's their problem
I used to yell at my mother because she always did everything for me. Back at the time I know I was just severely frustrated because I just couldn't do anything. I felt handicapped, over protected. When approaching my mother with these things it would fall on deaf ears meaning it's just hopeless. I have a friend that talks about himself as well, which makes me go mute. It's like my thoughts run tired and I want some space. Friendships do require some uncomfortable conversation for them to grow and correspond. Depends on reason why she yells at her. If she's defending herself or because her mother is doing something wrong to her then she's not toxic, she's just defending herself, but on the other hand if she's rude to her for no absolute reason then you might not want a relationship with her. Garanted, it could be that she's simply a rebellious teenager (assuming you're teens, if not then that's a red flag, an adult yelling to her mother isn't a good thing) but it's best to be careful to avoid heartbreak.
