Lap around the Nürburgring Nordschleife with a Renault Megane RS R26. After a crash of a Porsche GT3 RS I chased a Porsche GT2 around the track, he was blocking me the hole lap!
You're clearly the better driver. Much nicer lines and commitment in the corners. This guy has the legs on the straights but definitely holds you up through the twisty stuff! I'd definitely have let you through, you're clearly more talented!
All this shows is a GT2 being driven at about 25 - 40% of it's abilities holding off a Megane RS R26 being driven at about 80 - 90% of it's abilities. Your knowledge of The Ring is evident though = Great driving :)
I don't think he was blocking you per se and he was going at a tidy pace. But you're right, it was a shame he didn't let you by. He could've maybe stayed with you then and learnt a bit. Fairplay to him though, he didn't overdrive trying to stay in front and his car is 6x more expensive so perhaps that's why he was cautious especially after seeing the RS accident :-) Thanks for the video; it was enjoyable.

The GT2 should have been able to pull away from you quite easily. The 996 GT3 and E46 M3 that passed you at the end are both a lot slower than the GT2, shame the driver couldnt extract the cars potential. Fantastic driving by the way ;)

Yep i got a 200CUP. i see you got 182. it,s been a great car and i,ve had and prefer it over ST,TYPE R. also been more reliable. which is hard to believe.

the gt2 driver is very slow. i suppose something about a 7:35 with that car. for the megane it may be a good time, i don't know. but nice to see the gt2, actually a very good car
You should change the title as "A Modified Megane RS R26 chasing Porsche GT2 BTG 8:52 Porsche GT3RS Crash".. And yes, its clearly that megane is out of prorsche's league but porsche's driver is worse from the one driving the modified renault.. Dont put me wrong, i am a fan of renault, but it can not stand at this beasts. Of course, though, jokes like Ford Focus RS, VW GTI or Opel Astra OPC are inferior to this masterpiece made by Experienced Renault Sport Engineering..

Maybe he just doesnt know the track as good or he loves his car and don´t want to crash it? It´s not Playstation, it´s not even a race, just a tourist day. Imagine in Germany you can have a Supercar just to drive 300+ km/h on the Highway and also the girls like it.

On voit que le type en GT2 connait pas le circuit, petite acceleration... hesitant dans les courbes. Freinage excessif et répété... Bref, pas tres representatif d'un vrai pilotage. La R26 serait a la ramasse avec un pilote au volant de la Porsche.
