Best nursing trick ever, is LIFT your shirt instead of unbuttoning from the top or pulling your top down, just lift it up! If you lift it up from the bottom and the baby is ‘belly to belly’ (your belly touching their belly) then you’ll be covered up! The baby covers up your exposed belly and your still covered from the top! No need for a blanket over top of the baby. People can’t even tell you’re nursing unless they’re super close and trying to see her face. Seriously I hope you try it, it’s a game changer 😉

The hooded towel reminded me of my daughter. My daughter is almost 13 and refuses to throw away her hooded bath towels. She still uses them and they are falling apart. I'm so happy for you three!

I wasn’t aloud to eat anything during labor but ice chips. I was really hungry after! Birth at Disney would definitely mean she wants to be a vloggers daughter!
I was going to say the same thing. Eating isn't allowed just in case you need a c section.

I’m in agreement with others that don’t expect to be back in the time you think. I didn’t and I was twenty three with my first. You may be more comfortable in a pad rather than a diaper.

A little hack for bathing the baby. If you want to bathe the baby in the tub, get a small laundry basket and use the flower pad. That way you can bathe and rinse her off and don’t have to worry that she will drown. Even when she’s old enough to sit up in the tub, you can use a laundry basket. And when you take her to the pool, get a laundry basket and put pool noodles around the top and zip tie them to the basket. Sorry, I sound like a laundry basket salesperson. 😂 I’m wishing you all the best and can’t wait to see her! Baby Ariel?

Congratulations on your new bundle of joys. You guys are so cute.
Consider packing hemorrhoid creams. Remember even if things don’t go as planned everything will
be ok. Trust God, trust your body and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself and Baby G.
I will add to this, Tucks pads. The hospital gave me some to take home, not sure what a birthing center provides.
One work "Tucks" for your bottom the most comforting thing after giving birth!
Keep you hospital bag in the back of the car🤣 Enjoy Disney.
Just some advice from one mama to another… your tummy doesn’t go all the way back down to pre-baby size for a few weeks. It takes a few weeks for everything to contract back, I’m sure you’ve done your research and you know but I also know women get very discouraged and a little depressed over this sometimes. I just want you to have realistic expectations and not put too much pressure on yourself. Just love on that baby girl and give your body time to heal. ❤

It was many years ago when I gave birth. I used always maxi pads instead of diapers and they worked out great. Made me feel so much better. That and a donut to sit on after birth. You will do great! You are in great shape and you have prepared and you will be a fantastic momma!
I was told no eating once in labor. Less likely to throw up and if you need an emergency c-section you don’t want food in your system.
The birthing center I am at recommends snacking.
So exciting!! Have fun at Epcot.
I know your talking about in your bag 1 make sure to have chapstick and take your own pillow.

Regarding the car seat. I'm sure the birthing center will check to make sure it's properly installed, but you can also go to the police dept and they will check it for you as well. It's getting exciting now.
When my daughter in law had her 4th baby at home, I bought her a birthing gown. She loved it and was very happy with it. Besides her older kids, there were a few others there. She was modestly covered.

Hey Alyssa. Yesss. Great idea to be packed so Griff can just grab and you guys go. Yes. A loose and comfy outfit. 😂😂 Griff in the back agrees with the nipple butter. We want to see all. Great loungewear. 2 car seats needed. One for your car and one for momma Donna’s. Hey Griff. Love that sink spa. Can never have enough outfits/ towels etc. Yesss. Sterilizing is great. Should wash all onesies, clothing and socks too. Is anything left to buy for your shower? 😊. Enjoy Disney. Yes. Just heard you say wash things and put away. How exciting. Just keep in mind if you start to dilate once you get to a 2 you could stay at a 2 for awhile.

I would definitely suggest checking with your Dr regarding the right soap after giving birth. Things are not the same down there ijs!

Ahhh...seems the "nesting" has kicked in!! Won't be long now. Funny story...my friend was deeply crazy while nesting. She was lying on her kitchen floor trying to get dust bunnies under the fridge...next day she shaved her couch with a sweater shaver to get the pills off the fabric! And then she HAD to sand the popcorn off her ceiling. Anything nubby had to go! Lol
Sometimes babies do come early walking is good for you while pregnant
If for some reason you go past your due date - go have eggplant parm . Eggplant has natural Pitocin in it. Just saying. Looking forward to the updates on the fam and on Baby G! My baby boys are now 24 and 21. God bless.
