The latest Corona build has a feature to use dome mapping for hdr backplates for the exact issues you faced towards the end.

is it possible to use default c4d light in corona render? or you should really use corona lights only for the seemless background?
I believe it is possible to use native C4d lights inside of Corona: I think the question would be why would you want to?
To clarify around this workflow: I use a Cinema Sky object and a Cinema Background object, but all materials and lights are Corona based.
