  • Constructed in 1899 by the Stearns Manufacturing Company of Erie, Pennsylvania, Hetch Hetchy & Yosemite Valley Railroad #2 operated in the Yosemite Valley hauling logging trains. It later operated for the West Side Lumber Company near Tuolumne City, California, where the locomotive would later receive her name. #2 was the West Side's last operating steam locomotive until the company shuttered all rail operations in 1962.
Norman Clark of Roaring Camp Railroads purchased the recently retired #2 from the West Side later that year for $7,000. Shipped to Felton later that year, the locomotive was re-lettered for the Big Trees Flume & Lumber Company at Roaring Camp and started operating maintenance and later passenger trains.
#2 is still in service, taking passengers between the Roaring Camp Depot and Bear Mountain.
