What I don't get about people going to pride marches is that they think it's acceptable for people to walk around naked in public. Being naked isn't a part of sexuality. I'm straight and don't walk around naked because I'm proud to be straight, let alone go on marches because of it.
This is a really scary time just to be a human & who you were at birth. It feels like the human race is going extinct. Like were supposed to be bots. It's very easy to dismiss the problems trans people face when you aren't the ones being affected by them. Gay people are privileged in that due to years of activism (the same kind that you people now criticize when trans people do it), they are accepted and face very little discrimination and can go about their lives. The confusion started when they started calling themselves "trans WOMAN" and "trans MAN". Back in the day they used to just be called TransSEXUALS if they had their genitals cut/altered and if not, they were called TransVESTITES or people who present as the opposite sex (drag queens, butch lesbians). This was never an issue until the rules changed and 500 new genders were made up that anyone can become. Sexuality should matter in the case of transsexuals and the brain studies prove it. Heterosexual men who self ID as trans are most of the issue.

I am attracted sexually to my own sex. My sex, as far as I am concerned, is the important issue. I never use the word gender as it adds nothing to the debate, except confusion, which is exploited by 'trans' activists. It is a fiction to say people can be born in the wrong body. Biologically it is not possible. Each of us is our body. Our minds cannot exist without our bodies. Furthermore it is not possible to change sex. Our chromosomes dictate our sex. Sex is not "assigned at birth", as the 'trans' activists' weasel words claim. Our sex is recorded at birth by doctors and midwives i.e. medical people who can be trusted to differentiate a male baby from a female baby. It follows that those calling themselves 'trans' women are in fact men, and 'trans' men are women. We are born and die either male or female. There is nothing 'transphobic' about saying this, it is merely stating facts. I have no problem if people wish to present themselves to society in the guise of the opposite sex. What adults do consensually with other adults is their business. I will not be force by the 'trans' activists, public institutions or the government to affirm to a man that he is a woman by using she/her pronouns. If we abandon fact and truth then humans are lost. When she mentioned drag performances being involved with schools I didn’t really know what she was talking about, then I remembered during my freshman year of high school some drag queens were literally invited to perform at our school and they did. I don’t know why they were performing, I think it had something to do with Hispanic heritage month. He had a go at stand up back in the 80s and actually carved out a little place for himself on the road as an opener. I’ve been watching a variety of videos on this topic, and I’m encouraged that if the LGB people leave the movement it will stop the tide of madness that seems to have taken over the community. I’m a heterosexual woman and mother of three children. I’ve watched with increasing horror and anger as my role in society has been basically denied while simultaneously stolen. And a whole generation of children are not being protected by their parents but also let down by their government-falling prey to grooming legally allowed into the school system. I was just telling my friend I stopped going to gay pride each year because alot of LGBTQ supportive members of the community, or children come to the event to support a gay family member or friends, but then there are guys In chaps, lube advertisements, highly sexualized acts on stage... All while families and children are walking around. I support my community, I just wish the community could celebrate and behave as if they were in public... Because they are. I really don´t understand who thought it would be a good idea to bring their children to drag shows, i just can´t wrap my head around it. I think it´s important that drag performers are allowed to perform, make their money with it and just live their creativity as any other artist is allowed to, but I´m pretty sure that most drag performers are also aware and agree that highly sexualised shows are not for children.
Since this is a genuine question that's in good faith, I will answer. Most drag shows aimed at kids aren't sexual. Just like there are different types if movies and music and plays, there are different types of drag shows. Drag is essentially an exaggerated persona meant to entertain. There are even many "adult" drag shows that contain nothing sexual and are safe for everyone to watch. Most drag shows aimed at kids only involve extravagant, modest, eye-catching costumes (like princess dresses) and story telling or karaoke etc.

As a millennial parent, who happens to be gay, I would never ever take my child to anything involving drag queens . My child is 6, has no idea what the word gay means, but she knows she has 2 dads even though all of her friends have a mom and dad. I don’t think it’s time for that conversation to happen. A fairly common misconception about sports is the ACTUAL REASON for "womens" sports categories...the "mens divisions" basically are OPEN competition. There is nothing stopping women from competing (ie: trying out...) in open competitions. On rare occasions, even exceptional teen boys can qualify to compete despite not yet being MEN themselves. Women actually get their own leagues in order to counterbalance the fact that far less women would get the chances to play sports if they had to qualify and compete in OPEN competition categories with men.
Good point! This is why you’ll occasionally see cases of female athletes competing with boys at lower levels. There’s a reason for most sports at the professional level this will not happen. For physical sports, women will be at a disadvantage and it’s unfortunate this has to be stated. Biology didn’t suddenly leap off a cliff so we’re still human beings with differences between the sexes no matter how you identify.

Most of the issue is heterosexual transvestites. These are the types who are married with kids then come out as trans. They call themselves “trans lesbians” now. Gender clinics used to gatekeep them but now they run the “trans” community. The same sex attracted transsexuals like Blaire White, April Ashley, Janet Mock are never the issue in sports, or prisons. The game stop ma’am is a whole different thing. Two very different groups that have been conflated with one another. A really focused presentation of the issues raised by the aggressive 'trans' agenda, and the worrying colonisation of children's lives and education by drag queens. I am a 61 year old Gay man. I am attracted sexually to my own sex. My sex, as far as I am concerned, is the important issue. I never use the word gender as it adds nothing to the debate, except confusion, which is exploited by 'trans' activists. It is a fiction to say people can be born in the wrong body. Biologically it is not possible. Each of us is our body. Our minds cannot exist without our bodies. Furthermore it is not possible to change sex. Our chromosomes dictate our sex. Sex is not "assigned at birth", as the 'trans' activists' weasel words claim. Our sex is recorded at birth by doctors and midwives i.e. medical people who can be trusted to differentiate a male baby from a female baby. It follows that those calling themselves 'trans' women are in fact men, and 'trans' men are women. We are born and die either male or female. There is nothing 'transphobic' about saying this, it is merely stating facts. I have no problem if people wish to present themselves to society in the guise of the opposite sex. What adults do consensually with other adults is their business. I will not be force by the 'trans' activists, public institutions or the government to affirm to a man that he is a woman by using she/her pronouns. If we abandon fact and truth then humans are lost. There can be no laws or judicial system.
Regarding drag acts, I have always disliked them. They are caricatures of aspects of women. I suspect they are misogynistic. In any event, they rely upon innuendo, often highly sexualised, and should play no part in children's lives. Simple.

What’s so frustrating are the women who think this is ok. I was here for the battle women went thru for the same opportunities as men. So now women rooting for the inclusion of men in their sports makes me nauseous.

When she mentioned drag performances being involved with schools I didn’t really know what she was talking about, then I remembered during my freshman year of high school some drag queens were literally invited to perform at our school and they did. I don’t know why they were performing, I think it had something to do with Hispanic heritage month. I said watching this for the first time with my dad. We would always watch the stand-up on Netflix together. He had a go at stand up back in the 80s and actually carved out a little place for himself on the road as an opener. My dad was also a writing professor... actually teaching a class in comedy for a few years. My father was also a part of the trans community. I would even go so far as to say he was a lesbian trapped in a man's body because he was married to my mother, she was actually his first and third wife.
Watching this joke being performed with him was a study for sure. Once I realized where this joke is going I started watching him very closely. He didn't really laugh at the joke. He did however respect the joke. He Explained to me that Dave really seems to understand the community and its interaction with each other.

I’ve been watching a variety of videos on this topic, and I’m encouraged that if the LGB people leave the movement it will stop the tide of madness that seems to have taken over the community.
I’m a heterosexual woman and mother of three children. I’ve watched with increasing horror and anger as my role in society has been basically denied while simultaneously stolen. And a whole generation of children are not being protected by their parents but also let down by their government-falling prey to grooming legally allowed into the school system.

I was just telling my friend I stopped going to gay pride each year because alot of LGBTQ supportive members of the community, or children come to the event to support a gay family member or friends, but then there are guys In chaps, lube advertisements, highly sexualized acts on stage... All while families and children are walking around. I support my community, I just wish the community could celebrate and behave as if they were in public... Because they are. I really don´t understand who thought it would be a good idea to bring their children to drag shows, i just can´t wrap my head around it. I think it´s important that drag performers are allowed to perform, make their money with it and just live their creativity as any other artist is allowed to, but I´m pretty sure that most drag performers are also aware and agree that highly sexualised shows are not for children.

Since this is a genuine question that's in good faith, I will answer. Most drag shows aimed at kids aren't sexual. Just like there are different types if movies and music and plays, there are different types of drag shows. Drag is essentially an exaggerated persona meant to entertain. There are even many "adult" drag shows that contain nothing sexual and are safe for everyone to watch. Most drag shows aimed at kids only involve extravagant, modest, eye-catching costumes (like princess dresses) and story telling or karaoke etc.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the intelligent and reasonable and logical thinking that you are expressing. I’m a 68 year old man and you can imagine how bizarre this new thinking is to me. What I find the most bewildering is that the minuscule percentage of the population that makes up the LGBTQ has such influence over the corporations, media and government. There is something going on behind closed doors that is evil..

My child is 6, has no idea what the word gay means, but she knows she has 2 dads even though all of her friends have a mom and dad. I don’t think it’s time for that conversation to happen.

A fairly common misconception about sports is the ACTUAL REASON for "womens" sports categories...the "mens divisions" basically are OPEN competition. There is nothing stopping women from competing (ie: trying out...) in open competitions. On rare occasions, even exceptional teen boys can qualify to compete despite not yet being MEN themselves.
Women actually get their own leagues in order to counterbalance the fact that far less women would get the chances to play sports if they had to qualify and compete in OPEN competition categories with men.
Good point! This is why you’ll occasionally see cases of female athletes competing with boys at lower levels. There’s a reason for most sports at the professional level this will not happen. For physical sports, women will be at a disadvantage and it’s unfortunate this has to be stated. Biology didn’t suddenly leap off a cliff so we’re still human beings with differences between the sexes no matter how you identify.

Drag is entertainment - a performance. It is not necessarily trans people performing. I find Drag offensive as a woman. If I as a white person did a performance in black face and traditional African clothing, I would be threatened and cancelled. I’ve also served 2 prison terms in California. 🙂 The one thing about how I grew up was, kids should be kids and stay out of the adult’s business, and in turn adults with children were very outspoken about the degree of consequences they’d travel to in defending their kids. My parents included. ❤️ Now having said this, I do agreed that this would qualify as the reason most families where I’m from would turn into mobs. 🚫 I’d also have to admit that I’d be marching too. Everything you're saying is correct. The LGBTQIA, community may not all get along, but they know there is power in numbers. Everything is catering to them, politicians, corporations, even the church.
But they don't have the same aims. The Ts are actually damaging the gains that he others have made over the years, the activists fighting terfs and lesbians/gays over certain issues. And the gender fluids just destroy the whole argument that lesbians/gays are born and not made. If someone can change gender anytime they like, and men can become women or vice versa then it starts to undermine a lot of what the others stand for.

I can’t even have a respectful conversation with people about the topic without being disrespected or someone saying they’ll have to fix me and turn me straight (non consensually).
