I feel you. I feel like ever since nvidia released the RTX it ditched the GTX series.
@@WaitNoIdidntMean That's because the GTX series is a thing of the past. Always have to look forward and progress. Embrace whats new and bold.
But on a side note, always having the latest GPU isn't as cracked up as it's meant to be. Developers, and content creators are the only ones who really benefit from having the latest hardware. If you're just gaming, there's no need to update immediately.
@@mykehdoom I suppose your right, after all, my GTX 1660 is still really good for gaming, but when it really become outdated, i think ill switch to the RTX

Edit: Just tried it out, it's streets ahead of the of the previous version, the higher resolution makes it a lot more useful, and the quality of the images is way better

I love this program, I discovered it last night and stayed up way too late making concept art for dungeons and dragon settings and sessions. Seriously this program is the best thing I know of since sliced bread!

When I first downloaded nvidia I thought it was just some app you can use to look at your spec but I learned it was a whole lot more to that I can’t wait to see what they do in the future

I was just thinking about this software. But why is it only on RTX gpus?
It uses Ai accelerated by RTX gpus, otherwise it would be really slow or won't work at all.
That's how you sell more expensive graphic cards
@@tetsuooshima832 there's a Free cloud demo everyone can use, the desktop client only speeds it up.
@@RedTyrant RTX tech didn't invent raytracing, don't be gullible. They use it because it's faster, that doesn't mean it should be the only tech you can use. Look UE5 for example, it's brand new tech, sure it's slower with a non-RTX but at least you can still try it. Following your logic, whatever new program should be compatible with only the last graphic cards, would you be happy with that ? Good luck then, it's like saying you need a Porsche to go in any new place, that doesn't make sense if you can buy a slower car instead. Because not everyone can have that, right ?

Old resolution was 512px. Now is 1024px. It is not a 4X growing of resolution, isn`t it? Or maybe I dont understand something((
Make an empty canvas image of 512x512px. Paint any color in it. Copy.
Make another empty canvas of 1024x1024px. Paste your square into it. How many times you need to paste to fill the whole canvas ?
@@sanjios Damn it! I suspected that I was wrong about output resolution. I just thought that resolution couldn't be that small as 1024px, I thought it would be like 2560x2560. I was very wrong. Thanks!

same as 4k btw ;) 4k is ~4000 px resolution and it's said it's 4 times higher than full hd (with ~2000px). I was also confused at the beginning. You are not alone.

GTX 1660 6GB used to cost 14,000 to 16,000 rupees (INR) in 2019. NOW it costs 50,000+++
A upcoming budget GPU is the RTX 3050 (it's like the 1660 TI but with RTX) coming on 27.01
