This is what the aggro pirate decks will become once reno rotates out. People will start teching more mid range cards to beat the aggro decks while maintaining the early pirate package to beat control decks

It's also absolutely horrific vs Pirate Warrior, the deck he built this to "counter". It might surprise other classes into thinking it is a pirate warrior but that's the only thing in its favor. Your 2 taunts don't do anything once warrior gets Reaper.
i don't have a patches for the pirate package, but i run 2 small time buccaneers in all rogue warrior and shaman decks. seem like just must have cards almost regardless of deck style, so strong for early game =/
the highlight of the deck should be that it has almost no spells (is it only slam?), just to point out how weak healing and board clears are in the game... (if you include a board clear in your deck you may not draw it and if you draw it it may not generate enough value, but good minions are less reliant on the state of the board to generate value (you can play them into an empty board...) and minions may stay relevant in your next turn, unlike spells that usually only generate an effect in your current turn and sometimes spell have a comparable or even weaker effect than minions on or around the same mana (usually with battlecry but there are also other useful effects that are not battlecry))
yes it might be the decks fault that minions shine more than spells, but than theres the thing that decks where minions shine more than spells are more dominant than the decks with spells.

I did something similar to this with rogue, but put in a bunch of stealth buffing cards for midrange... and I actually won games.

I think this deck would be way more consistent with Twilight Guardian instead of Bloodhoof and a couple of Faerie Dragons.
