new player experience is horrible. face decks are not only on ranked all the way to rank 20 but also on casual and there is nothing you can do without a proper deck

kripp I love how you described exactly where I am in the scope of all those who play hearth stone. I began playing in 2015 right around when we had gvg and brm and nax, plus the basic cards that got all our gears working in order to figure out what was the best way to zerg down the oppponent. Today I am in that mid- to expert level of hearth stone. I currently have a decent collection of cards with all adventures up to today completed as well as a pretty nice sized collection of neutral legendaries. I have the complete Reno lock, miracle pirate rogue, aggro pirate shaman, freeze mage, zoolock, secret hunter, and Dragon priest. But I really do here you kripp when you speak on these matters of "player experience".
To be honest, every ranked game i get is below rank 20, so this is interesting.
That taunt warrior deck looked pretty sick.

I love how team 5 said they are satisfied with the new player experience and the only thing they're working on changing is the win streak bonus
Kripp, i'm the biggest noob, build my own decks, love the community, watch all your videos, dont give a fuck about the meta and hate the game right now. I needed to get that out of my chest. I'm a noob just because i dont play enough, i build my decks because thats what the game is about and no fucking one gives a shit about that, the comunity is active and fun, your videos are fucking great entertaining and brilliant way of playing, the meta is just a guide to move not a rail to follow, but the way the game takes all the skill out and makes everything a pay to win RNG game disgusts me. Hopefuly this game gets back on track and fixes itself... if not the community should do something! If not... this game will die... and i will develop something worth the concept of hearthstone!

I have 3 years of experience playing Hearthstone. But I don't buy packs or farm the arena. I don't even do most of the quests because I don't have enough time. So I can't catch up with the new decks and I lose motivation to play. I've been around rank 20 all 2016 and now I have stopped playing Hearthstone. Thanks Blizzard, gonna go play other stuff.
Qwertycal if your not gonna put time then you won't achieve anything in any game. that's has nothing to do with blizzard, just you not having time to invest into the game
I mean, if you can't find the motivation to put time into the game because you get stomped by everyone who has a disposable income, then yah it kinda IS on blizzard.
Atlas I did try harder at the start, but now everything feels useless.
It doesn't feel rewarding at all and all the things I wanted from the game, like having a good control deck or getting legend, seem unachievable.
Qwertycal renolock and reno mage are both good control deck. also taking break from the game is not a bad thing. I usually tend to take a break for half of the month from the game if I try hard the previous month

I feel like the Nyx guy was playing a quest deck that he kinda tried to optimize.
to be honest, this is what I love about low ranks. Look at the diversity of decks being played. The taunt warrior and the cycle anyfin decks were pretty cool. At high ranks, you basically know 25-30 of the cards in your opponent's deck. At rank 20, you probably could guess about 10 from the start.
Also, late in the month the beginner experience isn't too bad. If you literally have no cards, then yes it still sucks, but if you have enough of a pool to get creative to make some random deck, you could probably get rank 15-10 off of it. The only problem right now is aside from pirate warrior and shaman, you need a ton of dust to make any of the viable top tier decks. You'll win to a point then start getting crushed by legendary cards.
Day9 ran that Anyfin Pally Cycle Deck methinks at a point.
my rank 20 experience...: pirate warrior, pirate rogue, cancer shaman, jade cancer shaman, jade druid... all net decked and all patches and aya. yay
When you put your heart into the game, and are rank 20, every deck is viable.

That first game was really cool, I've never seen successful taunt warrior..
im a free to play, played for 3 years and have about 8 leagends
So am i and i have 50% of all legends and like 70% of good legends. Never got a 2 leg pack or nothing and had to craft pretty much all useful legs. And i play an hour a day max with occasional skips. So you just suck at managing your resources i guess. Also legs are not all that matters like look at shaman. It's all about the good cards not rarity.

2 years, 2 legendaries, both from the welcome bundle. I have shit luck.
I've been playing for 2 months and a half now and i am doing worse than at the start. I have a feel for these type of games, i learn very quick, so i got to rank 15 with my own miracle rogue kind of crappy deck last month. At the moment every single opponent i face just blows me away with complete netdecks, i can't get past rank 19 on EU servers. The most frustrating part for me are the constant stream of 'easy' decks. The only thing that keeps me playing is the arena experience, in which i do pretty good with an average of 6-3 runs atm.
i think it's always worth striving to hit at least 20 min every season, rewards maybe small but it's worth it.
The last player obviously had to dump paladin cards for a daily quest
I'm not a middle player, I get to rank 20 to get that card back and go 1-3 in Arena. Sometimes I win, but I mostly lose.

I’m a low rank free to play player, that also disagrees with looking up decks online, SOOOOOO my experience in ranked is very painful most of the time.
Playing since early beta but i like to sit in the 20s...its where the best decks are

Even in the middle of the month, I'm against netdecks with 35 legendaries. Impossible to get past rank 19, considering I can only make a super budget jade golem deck after a couple of months playing

I just started playing around a month ago and I don't have alot of good cards nor the money to get them and I've found out that I enjoy watching hearthstone more than I do playing it 😂

i got a question... who is he talking to when he answers questions or addresses comments? is he reading the twitch chat or what? the chat is way to fast to read, how else do people interact with him?
I think he reads donation messages and chat sometimes (even if it's too fast you can spot the message).
To me it feels like rank 15 is the hardest and after that it gets easier until around rank 10

on EU-server every 20-rank-deck is a legendary-rank-deck. Its hard to fight only aggrodecks
I'm a free player and I enjoy your videos. I also tried arena as a new-ish player and tried ranked stuff and got wrecked and didn't want to play again. Tavern Brawl is all I do. I prefer it because they change the rules all the time. There's no Uber powerful deck out there to destroy you.
Rank 20 US tends to be pure speed rush netdecks, frequently botted, trying to grind as many wins as possible.
The Kripp experience
tbh i play heatstone since a long time i would even say close after release but not regulary. i started to play again but i am honest: it feels like everybody who got a lot of cards crafts a meta guide deck and then hopes that he draws good cards and thats it. it is basicly 80% luck and maybe 20% skills of thinking about how to play you turn the most efficient way.
rank 20 experience is 80% of matches are against someones own style mage deck that usually doesnt work but sometimes fucks you up and you feel like shit
That's true to the HS experience. Higher ranks is the same just the decks are better.

In EU, every rank 20 deck has at least 5 legendaries, unless it's Pirate Warrior, then it's all golden.
EU is Sparta. Only the hard and the strong may call themselves EU players. Only the hard.....only the strong. Lol

Logged in for the first time this expansion a couple days ago to finally start. I went 9-0 with hunter, druid, and priest from rank 25 on.
Some dude I played, while rank 21 and him at rank 19, started with arcane missles face, into turn 2 frostbolt a 2/1, coin, arcane missles.
